Este es el fin (¿Lo es?)

A fines de los años 90 comencé a experimentar y a grabar música sólo en mi habitación. Sin saberlo, estaba comenzando con lo que posteriormente llamaría el proyecto Leechmaster. Desde el año 2000 hasta la fecha creé música que va desde la experimentación y precariedad del primer disco hasta llegar a producciones con calidad como la del álbum titulado ‘Escape’. También hice, sin y con ayuda, dos videoclips. Tuve el privilegio de tocar algunos temas de Leechmaster en los inicios de Noosfera, banda a la que pertenecí desde el 2007 al 2017. También existieron tiempos de pausas, sea por dedicar mis energías a Noosfera o por que simplemente necesitaba tomarme esos tiempos.

Ahora, ha llegado el momento en el que llevaré mi vida por otros caminos y cambios, lo cual significa que Leechmaster entrará en una pausa indefinida. Lo que depara el futuro no se conoce, por lo cual mientras mi corazón siga latiendo siempre existirá la esperanza de que Leechmaster vuelva a la vida.

Quiero agradecer a todas las personas que en algún momento escucharon o apoyaron este proyecto y decirles que mi música siempre estará ahí para que la escuchen. Yo vivo en mi música y allí viviré por siempre.

This is the end (Is it?)

When the ‘90s were fading away I began to experiment and record music alone in my room. Without knowing it, I was starting with what later would be known as the Leechmaster project. Since year 2000 to date I created music ranging from the experimentation and precariousness of the first record to the quality productions such as the album titled ‘Escape’. I also made, with and without help, two music videos. I had the privilege of playing some of Leechmaster’s songs in the early days of Noosfera, band which I was part of from 2007 to 2017. There were also times of pause, either to dedicate my energy to Noosfera or because I simply needed to take that time.

Now, the moment has come in which I’ll take my life through other paths and changes, which means that Leechmaster will enter into an indefinite hiatus. The future is not known, so as long as my heart keeps beating there will always be hope for Leechmaster to come back to life.

I want to thank all the people that at some point listened or supported this project and tell you that my music will always be there to be listened. I live in my music and I’ll live there forever.

Siempre es una gran satisfacción llegar con mi música a lugares donde nunca me hubiera imaginado llegar.

One year ago today, Leechmaster's 6th record titled 'Escape' was released. I started composing it in 2018 and recording sessions alongside lyric writing began in 2019, recording that also continued during 2020 in full quarantine due to the pandemic.

Once the mix and mastering of the songs that make up the album was finished, I decided that an album like this deserved a music video and that's why I spoke to Lore Esbry for the production of it. The result of that work was the music video of 'Resistencia' and a set of photographs of which one of them is part of the album's cover.

This album was the result of a great effort, and like all the records and songs of the project, it was fully composed, recorded, mixed and mastered by the sole member of it.

This album came from the heart and was made for posterity, and I hope those who listened to it will continue to enjoy it as the first day it was released, and those who haven't, can discover and enjoy it in the same way.

Hoy hace un año se lanzó el 6to disco de Leechmaster titulado 'Escape'. Comencé a componerlo en el año 2018 y la grabación junto a la redacción de letras comenzó en el año 2019, grabación que continuó también el 2020 en plena cuarentena de la pandemia.

Una vez finalizada la mezcla y masterización de los temas que componen el disco, decidí que un álbum como este merecía un videoclip y por esa razón hablé con Lore Esbry para la producción del mismo. El resultado de ese trabajo fue el videoclip de 'Resistencia' y el conjunto de fotografías de la cual una de ellas forma parte de la tapa del álbum.

Este álbum fue el resultado de un gran esfuerzo, y al igual que todos los discos y temas del proyecto, fue íntegramente compuesto, grabado, mezclado y masterizado por el único integrante del mismo.

Este álbum fue hecho desde el corazón y para la posteridad, y espero que los que lo escucharon lo sigan disfrutando como el primer día en que fue lanzado, y los que no, lo puedan descubrir y disfrutar de la misma manera.

Exactly one year ago, the music video of 'Resistencia' was released. This song belongs to the album titled 'Escape'. During the shooting of the video, several pictures were taken which would later be part of the album's artwork. The video was shot by Lore Esbry and her ideas are embodied in it.

One year has passed since the release of this music video. I hope you enjoy it as the first day 😎
