The 2024 RVA XC Festival, which includes six USATF national championship events and a Citizens 6 kn Run, will take place tomorrow (January 20) at Pole Green Park in Mechanicsville.
We hope you are planning to attend as either a competitor or spectator; or both.
There is still time to enter the Citizens 6 km Run. Registrations will be accepted at the course today (Friday) from Noon - 5 PM or on Saturday morning from 8 - 8:30 A.M.
EVENT SCHEDULE
9:00 AM – Citizens 6 km Run
9:45 AM – Kids Run (400m) - Free/No advance registration required
10:30 AM- USATF Master’s Women’s 6 km Championship
11:30 AM- USATF Master’s Men’s 8 km Championship
12:30 PM- USATF U20 Women’s 6 km Championship (Top 6 make Team USA)
01:15 PM- USATF U20 Men’s 8 km Championship (Top 6 make Team USA)
02:00 PM- USATF Women’s 10 km Championship (Top 6 make Team USA)
02:50 PM- USATF Open Men’s 10 km Championship (Top 6 make Team USA)
CITIZENS 6K GIVE AWAY:
Everyone entered in the Citizens 6K Run (race day included) receives a $10 coupon at packet pick-up redeemable at any food truck on-site on race day (1/20). Good for any one of the food trucks on-site on race day.
Everyone entered in the Citizens 6K Run will receive a free 3-day admission pass AND free parking pass to Kings Dominion Park ($180 at gate value). Details Here: ..
KIDS RUN (400 Meters):
Free to all children 10 & Under. No registration is required. Simply show up and listen to the announcements. Children will report to the start line at 9:25AM for a warm-up with University of Richmond Women’s Track & Field Team Members. After a short warmup, they will proceed to the Kids Run Start Line for the 400M run to the Finish Line. As soon as they finish they will go onto the awards stage to be presented with a medal just like Team USA later in the day.
