4 years ago i had myself fully convinced buying a house was a scam 🤯

because if anything ever happened you couldn’t just call your landlord to get it fixed and rent was always cheaper than the mortgage.

we tend to convince ourselves of things that don’t seem possible for our life.

i also told myself i didn’t want anymore babies 😭
because let’s face it, i couldn’t have had more babies if i was still relying on building furniture to keep food on the table.

i owned my own business that technically owned me.

my husband worked 70+ hours a week running heavy equipment.

both of us away, truly having ZERO control over our income.
tapped out at how much we were making.

we sacrificed so much time to scrape by every single month with NOTHING left over.

when you don’t even have a savings account, how would you ever be able to afford a down payment right?

two years into this business we bought our first home.
