Saber Junction 23 is a U.S. Army exercise with NATO allies and partners from Aug 28 to Sept 22, 2023. Over 4,000 personnel from 14 different counties participated in the exercise.

Command Sgt. Maj. Adkison visited Soldiers at Home Station Mission Command at Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia, to discuss their critical role in future redeployment efforts and to recognize them for all their hard work.

Highly specialized units from the U.S. military’s premier Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Explosives (CBRNE) command refined their sampling and reconnaissance techniques during an exercise on Dugway Proving Ground, Utah, in August.
American Soldiers and U.S. Army civilians from the 20th CBRNE Command trained with joint and interagency partners during the command’s Sampling Operations and Reconnaissance Exercise.

from 2-3 GSAB Knighthawks, 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division (3 CAB, 3 ID) conducted fast rope insertion and extraction system (FRIES) training with our partners in the Latvian Armed Forces at Camp Adazi, Latvia.
FRIES allows Soldiers to quickly deploy from a hovering aircraft without touching down. This training ensures our partner nations are trained and proficient with U.S. Army equipment, increasing interoperability between the nations!

Last week, Gen. Andrew Poppas, Commanding General of U.S. Army Forces Command, and Command Sgt. Maj. T.J. Holland visited Fort Bliss, Texas. During the visit, they met with unit leaders at the NCO Leadership Center of Excellence to discuss the future of the Army. Additionally, they familiarized themselves with Bravo Battery, 2D Air Defense Artillery Regiment's air defense capabilities, and held discussions with Col. Johnny R. Sutton, the Commander of the 5th Armored Brigade. Gen. Andrew Poppas and Command Sgt. Maj. T.J. Holland embarked on an aerial tour of Fort Bliss, which included landing at the Doña Ana Training Area. They engaged with Soldiers from Charlie Battery, 4-1 Field Artillery Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team during their gunnery exercises.
