My Dad built the bird house a number of years ago. I carved the brick work and shingle textures into the wood than painted the bird house. The windows have a high gloss glaze over them to give them the look of stained glass

When I was little I loved to go out in the wood and pick flowers, The sun flower was the Arrow Leaf (Okanagan) Sunflower was and still is is my favorite wild flower.

I spent the summer taking pictures of wild flowers, as a child I would pick the flowers & press them, it is always a nice surprise to open a book and find one inside. Some flowers are quite rare & some are weeds they are all beautiful, there are a total of 6 yellow flowers in this album.
