CHS Announces September Student of the Month

September 3, 2024

Congratulations to Francisco Ayala, Concordia High School’s Student of the Month for September. Francisco is the son of Francisco Ayala and Imelda Ramirez.

Francisco plans to attend Kansas State University to major in computer engineering. After college, he plans to move to a bigger city close to the beach. Some advice Francisco would give to his fifth grade self, “Treat others with kindness no matter what.”

Francisco has participated in scholar’s bowl and student council. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with and walking his dog, Sparky. He also enjoys playing video games with friends.

Faculty, staff, and student leaders of CHS selected Francisco Ayala as student of the month and wish him a successful future!

Salina Family Healthcare Center registered dental hygienists will be coming to Concordia Elementary on September 23 and 24th. They will provide free oral health screenings for students Kindergarten through 4th grade. If you do not want your child to participate in the oral health screenings please complete and return the bottom portion of the screening form that will be coming home with your student. In addition to oral health screening, fluoride varnish application will be available as well at no cost. Your child will only receive fluoride varnish if the back of the screening form "Consent for Fluoride Varnish Application" is completed and returned to school by August 30, 2024. ​Please contact Nurse ​Katie or Nurse Jeni with any questions! ​

This Sunday, if you show your 2024-2025 school employee ID to the front gate, then the races are on us as a small thanks for all you do! Does not matter what school district, just current coming year ID.

24-25 School Year Enrollment is open for the Concordia After School Program (CAP). CAP is open for students grades K-4. To enroll, please complete the form located below. Ten, clink on the enrollment link to access the enrollment papers. Papers can be turned into CES, CMS or the BOE office! Contact [email protected] with any questions.
