Traveling means being in a lot of hotels. This long weekend is Daddy/Daughter weekend which means every year on my little love's birthday she goes into my back office and picks a place on this planet that she wants me to take her to.
She originally picked Hawaii and the Bahamas BUT then she had a awakening and wanted a zoo and not just a far away zoo but the Kansas City Zoo (5 hours away from our home)
So here we are, daddy and his little love on a monumental date trip to Kansas City.
My little girl loves American Girl (had no idea) and she just so happened to bring "Willa" on the trip. The #Doubletree by #Hilton is the only hotel in the Kansas City area that has a American Girl themed room package.
Enjoy as these are the memories I hope to hold onto as I gracefully age in life

Back for a memory of Bali This was my first trip to the island of Bali. I literally landed, was driven to the Airbnb on the beach then was picked up by the hired minder to take me to the top of the highest point in Bali, Mt Angung. Mt Angung erupted a few years ago and climbing to the top is off limits. This was a trip never to be duplicated. Enjoy the view from the top of Mt Angung volcano, Bali, Indonesia
There is a raging blizzard outside and the interstates are closed so today is a great day to post the video walk-thru of the Thonburi Suite at 137 Pillars and Suites that I stayed in for my 24 Hours in Bangkok.
