ADAM/SHAFFY VS KELLY

LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE!

Adam has gone undefeated throughout this illustrious tournament, winning him international fans and fame. Sponsorships from major corporations have been rebuffed, as Adam wants to stay focused on providing his customers with the best office supplies buying experience east of the Pacific Ocean.

Kelly has a chance at redemption against Adam, who earlier had knocked him down to the 2nd chance bracket. Well here it is -his second chance. Will he get tricked or will he get the ultimate treat! The 1st inaugural One Source Office Supplies Foosball Championship Trophy.

This winner-takes-all match is what we have been building towards all week. We want to take a quick moment to thank everyone who has voted, watched along and supported their favorite One Source Office Supplies team members. Without you none of this would be possible.

With that the let the game begin.

G1 – Kelly
Kelly shows off some more of the defensive skills that got him the win over Andy. Adam turns the ball over, and Kelly rockets home the first goal of the Championship match.

G2 – Adam
Adam, undeterred and unbreakable, shows his true grit by tying the game up with a beautiful goal.

G3 – Adam
Adam takes the lead. The pressure is mounting on Kelly’s side as one more goal hands Adam the trophy.

G4 – Adam/Shaffy WINS!

That’s it folks, the last minute injury replacement for Shaffy takes the win gold home for the accounting team!

Kelly Vs. Andy

Two players from the 2nd chance bracket battle it out for the chance to meet Adam for the trophy. Tensions are high but at least Thomas isn’t playing so the result will be unsullied by scandal.

G1 – Kelly
Kelly scores the first goal off a turnover by Andy. Without his whistle, Andy is just loudly exhaling as if he had a whistle. Very strange. Focus, Andy!

G2 – Kelly
Another turnover and another goal by Kelly. He is really putting Andy through the paces and showing his operational chops by delivering the goals to Andy, same day!

G3 – Andy
We have a match! A solid rally from both teams and the crowd is going wild. Great goal from Andy, who at least won’t be shut out if this is his last appearance in this most prestigious of tournaments.

G4 – Kelly
A beautiful goal by Kelly puts the cherry on top of a great run by Kelly and his plastic men. Andy is eliminated but shows true sportsmanship by offering his congratulations to Kelly and his team. Everyone feels comfortable giving back the whistle at this point, which seems to brighten his spirits.

Adam Vs. Kelly
Two UNDEFEATED players go head to head for the ultimate in office bragging rights.

G1 – Adam
Adam takes the lead with a beautiful play. Kelly appears visibly shaken.

G2 – Adam
Adam, with a beautiful fake out, draws the goalie reaction from Kelly and then bangs it home.

G3 – Adam
Adam shuts out Kelly and advances to the championship game. Kelly still has a chance at redemption so the dream is still alive

Heath vs Andy

The final day has arrived and its extra special as it is Office Halloween today, with everyone in costume! Heath has arrived as Vlady Jr. from the Blue Jays. Andy is a referee with a very loud and shrill whistle that he insists on blowing constantly.
Is it part of his strategy or is he just excited? It’s not clear.

G1 – Heath
Heath strikes first with a beautiful bank shot to start the day.

G2 – Andy
Andy shows a beautiful soft touch with the ball to tie the game. Heavy on the whistle still though.

G3 – Andy
After perhaps the longest rally/game of the tourney, Andy takes the lead with strong play.

G4 – Andy
Heath is eliminated after Andy scores the game winner. Much whistling ensued before we were able to wrestle the whistle from Andy.

Krista Vs Heath

The first and perhaps only rematch of the tourney. Heath has vowed to take back his dignity as Krista has been INSUFFERABLE.
It should also be noted that Heath was wearing a beautiful purple tie today!

Goal 1 – Heath
Heath comes out with a vengeance and puts the hurt on Krista early.

Goal 2 – Heath
Another goal by Heath, Krista says she cant concentrate due to the vibrancy of Heath's tie, no one blames her.

Goal 3 – Heath
Like a movie, the last goal rolls across the line in slow motion. We all assume this is the best moment of Heath's life.

Andy Vs Martin

The grudge match of the century! The two longest tenured One Source team members. You know it was going to be a battle because instead of the “Ole” song we played EDM music. Andy was locked in, talking trash and took off his jacket before the game began.

Goal - 1 Andy
Andy is playing to win, he is still upset about losing to Adam, as after this goal he pointed to him in the crowd and told him he was coming for him.

Goal 2 – Andy
Wow, blood is in water and the foosball shark that is Andy is in a feeding frenzy.

Goal 3 – Andy
A quick game and a shut out. Martin's stalwart defense was no match for Andy's aggressiveness.

Thomas Vs Martin

Though we have made multiple calls to local law enforcement regarding the allegations against Thomas, at this time no official investigation has been opened.

Goal 1 – Thomas
An exceptionally lucky bounce and roll nets Thomas the first goal. He laughs maniacally and rubs his hands together and we are all scared for our safety.

Goal 2 – Martin
Martin, after using his vaunted defense to hold off a hard charging Thomas, scores a long range goal. Sometime the best offence is a good defense.

Goal 3 – Martin
The crowd all chanting his name gives Martin the strength and energy to push back against Thomas' aggressive bulliyng style and pulls ahead with another sweet goal.

Goal 4 – Martin
The first touch after the start of play Martin scores again and puts an end to Thomas' plans for world domination Via Foosball, for another year at least. Our savior!

Andy Vs Adam

The newest account manager takes on the oldest in another battle of the first letter names.

Goal 1 – Adam
Stunning the crowd and obviously not knowing what’s good for him, Adam puts in the go ahead goal.

Goal 2 – Adam
Uh oh! Adam puts in another and Andy is down 2-0.

Goal 3 – Adam
Andy scores on his won own goal and is bounced to the 2nd chance bracket. What an upset!

Krista Vs Kelly

The battle of the K’s! Loser has to pick a new first letter of their name. Krista chose the yellow side, as she did let us know yellow is her colour beforehand.

Goal 1 – Krista
After Kelly hit the goal post three times in a row Krista slipped one past Kelly's side.

Goal 2 – Kelly
Kelly's childhood is really paying dividends for him as he shows his skills and ties up the game.

Goal 3 – Kelly
Kelly invoking the power of Nova his/our office dog takes the lead and is one goal away from advancing to the next round.

Goal 4 – Kelly
Kelly scored from long range after toying with Krista for awhile. To make things easy for her friends and family she will be hereto known as Crista

Sheldon Vs Heath

Sheldon showed up early to get some practice rounds and was cleanly shaven because we getting down to brass tacks. People are getting eliminated and the championship will be decided tomorrow! A heavy slate of games this morning to take care of and the team over here is pretty excited to see which department gets the bragging rights for the next 12 months!

Goal 1 – Sheldon
Practice does make perfect, Sheldon scores a quick strike goal.

Goal 2 – Heath
After some intense pressure on Heath by Sheldon, he scores a breakout goal to tie up the game.

Goal 3 – Heath
Immovable and majestic as the 7 Sisters Mountain range Heath pulls ahead with a beauty!

Goal 4 – Heath
His Mountain Lion reflexes and Bear strength overpower Sheldon no matter how incredibly, exceptionally good looking he is.
Sheldon is eliminated and Heath moves on.

Morgan Vs Heath

Another great game lined up for y’all today.
The two winners (they tied) for “best looking” at our last Christmas party, as voted by the two person committee of Morgan and Heath.
Yes they have the certificates to prove it!

Goal 1 – Morgan
A quick goal by Morgan stuns both himself and the crowd.

Goal 2 – Heath
A blast by Heath ties the game up at 1-1. You can feel the wind coming out of Morgan's sails with that one.

Goal 3 – Heath
A shot trickles in as Morgan's goalie struggles to recover. Heath takes the lead.

Goal 4 – Heath
That’s it, Morgan is eliminated and Heath keeps the hopes and dreams of an entire community and customer base alive.

Sheldon Vs Aglician

A true battle of smallest vs tallest. The anticipation for this one was palpable as we have another Ops vs. Account Managers bragging rights game.

G1 – Sheldon
Sheldon dazzled us all with a winning smile and then again, with a beatiful goal. Everything the man does is stylin'!

G2 – Aglician
Aglician showing real improvement since the beginning of the tourney, playing some excellent defense. She stopped a couple of hard charges from Sheldon and scored on the counter attack.

G3 – Sheldon
The best game of the morning with a back and forth battle. Sheldon distracted Aglician when the light hit him just right and he did that cute little hair flip thing.

G4 – Sheldon
Sheldon's goalie got in on the action by scoring the final goal of the game and knocking Aglician out of the tournament.

Cory Vs Thomas

Thomas, though mired and in scandal (and as of yet unproven allegations), kept his held held high before the game -Even with his chances at gold on the line in this game. Threats of legal action for “slander” and “defamation” by Thomas against your intrepid writer will not stop me from bringing forth the truth for you, our beloved readers/fans.

Goal 1 – Thomas
Thomas scored a quick goal and we are off to the races. Very aggressive start to the game. Bullying, even.

Goal 2 – Thomas
Another goal by Thomas and a protest from Cory about table pulling. We all saw it, but upon review we don’t have a rule in the book for table pulling this year. Next year!

Goal 3 - Cory
Cory showing true heart and grit in the face of all obstacles scored a beautiful goal.

Goal 4 – Thomas
Thomas scored a legal goal and did, in fact, show a little bit of skill here at the end. Good game by Thomas.

Tyler Vs Martin/Lara

Before the game, Tyler (bless his shiny unicorn heart), asked Martin in earnest “are you good at this?”. Martin refused to answer and challenged Martin to play one handed. Martin declined cause he’s a winner and the game began.

G1 – Martin
Martin answered Tyler's question by scoring on his very first hit of the miniature ball.

G2 – Martin
Martin scored a long range rocket with a save and a shot by his goalie. Tyler has no doubt that Martin is good at this.

G3 – Tyler
Tyler redeemed himself by scoring and the ops team went WILD!

G4 – Martin
Martin takes it and as always is as gracious in winning as he is in losing.

Krista Vs Heath

Krista has complained for days about the layout of the table handles, her poor abilities at foosball and how for the first time Mikaela can’t support her remotely. Heath as stoic as the mountains he was birthed near seemed unfazed.

Goal 1 – Krista
It was a con! She’s got game and rocketed the first goal home stunning the crowd, Heath and herself.

Goal 2 – Heath
Perhaps it was a fluke, Heath ties it up.

Goal 3 – Krista
Another goal by Krista, who while appearing to be extremely awkward, is still putting points on the board.

Goal 4 – Krista
That’s it, Game over. The biggest upset of the tournament so far. Krista moves on and Heath only has one more chance to stay alive.

Martin/Lara Vs. Adam/Shaffy

A last minute change in participants. As always Martin filling in when and where we needed to make sure the gears keep whirring over here.

We were treated to a surprise performance of Josh Tuners – Your Man before the festivities began by our newest team member. Adam described himself as a real renaissance man before showing us all his latest painting. What cant he do!

After a couple of false starts and some more technical difficulties with the broadcast team we got the game going!

Goal 1 – Martin
A spirited rally and some solid team play gained Martin an early lead. The crowd went wild!

Goal 2 – Adam
A quick strike from Adam tied the game up and settled the crowd down who had gotten a little unruly.

Goal 3 – Martin
We’ve got a game! Martin's fans are going nuts!

Goal 4 – Adam
A back and forth affair. Adam is getting pretty aggressive with the table. Hopefully the table survives the day!

Goal 5 – Adam
A solid goal for Adam. Martin is as gracious in losing as he is normally (which is very!)

Thomas Vs Andy

The most anticipated of games has arrived! Two of the most veteran members of OSOS square off. Thomas would not let the allegations of unsportsmanlike conduct and bullying deter him from his ultimate goal of winning this tournament by whatever means necessary. Andy, one of the other favorites to win the tournament, refused to be bullied and in fact ESCALALTED the trash talking to a whole other level.
What an inspiration.

Goal 1 - Andy
Andy makes short work of Thomas’ small plastic men and quickly scores the first goal of the match.

Goal 2 – Andy
Another quick goal and you can see the reality setting in on Thomas side. Andy took a brief moment to stunt for all his fans following along on FB video.

Goal 3 – Andy
After a brief table malfunction Andy dispatched Thomas with the final goal of the match. We may have seen the two title favorites play this morning and the anticipation is building

Aglician Vs Kelly

After some brief technical difficulties from the broadcast team this most illustrious of interoffice tournaments has resumed.

The sportsmanship on display this morning between these two filled everyone with a renewed hope for world peace.
The ball was dropped and the game begins!

Goal 1 – Kelly
After a spirited rally where Aglician held her own, Kelly did score the first goal but not as easily as some may have predicted.

Goal2 – Kelly
Kelly showed no mercy and scored a quick goal. A herculean effort will be needed by Aglician to tie this one up.

Goal 3 – Kelly
Well that’s all folks. A quick and painless dispatching moves Kelly onto the next round and Aglician gets a second chance against Sheldon later this week.

Morgan Vs Shaffy/Adam

Due to some injuries to the amazing Shaffy, she was unable to participate.
Luckily our newest team member Adam stepped in on short notice for an open weight bout.

Goal 1 – Morgan
Quick goal from Morgan's side whose strategic preparation and film sessions was all for naught with the last minute opponent change.
Goal 2 – Adam
Adam's side answers back with a brilliant goal. Gloating was kept to a minimum, what a gentleman.
Goal 3 – Morgan
great back and forth action before Morgan's side channeled their inner Toronto Raptors and took the lead.
Goal 4 – Adam
What a game, furious action and great team play. We are heading to our first sudden death match!
Goal 5 – Adam
ADAM WINS! Morgan's side limps to the second chance bracket.
It'S okay though, as like the Toronto Raptors, this is a development year for Morgan's team to get the new guys some experience before we make our run for the crown next year.

Game 3 – Tyler Vs. Heath
The peoples choice and leading vote getter, Tyler, takes on the Skeena baptized/mountain chiseled Heath in the second Ops vs. Acct Manager game of the tourney. Lots of pressure on these two as bragging rights for the next 12 months are on the line. While made of flesh and blood, Tyler may in fact be a magical horse, so anything is possible here.

Goal 1 – Heath
Heath puts on one the board quickly showing the worth of experience and small town living.
Goal 2 - Tyler
We have a game! great play from Tyler who seems to still be getting a feel for the table.
Goal 3 – Heath
What happens when an immovable object is also an unstoppable force? Heath happens, who takes a 2-1 lead.
Goal 4 – Heath
Wow! What a goal. Heath goalie puts in a long distance rocket that ends Tyler’s chances of going undefeated. What a shot.

Game 2 – Kelly Vs. Cory
Kelly, the odds on favorite in Vegas due to his having a table in his youth.
The crowd is definitely behind Cory for this one though. The ladies love him and the lads want to be him.

Goal 1 – Kelly
The skills were on full display as Kelly buried a shot from long range.
Goal 2 – Kelly
A good rally with strong play on both sides ended with a trickle in goal from Kelly. The odds makers seem to have been on the money.
Goal 3 – Kelly
Kelly delivers the final blow. While putting forth a valiant effort Cory wasn’t able to put any points on the board. Perhaps this will be the start of the best comeback story of the tourney as he moves to the second chance bracket and Kelly advances.

Thomas Vs. Sheldon

The excitement was palpable through-out the sold out crowd at “People First Stadium”. Martin explained the rules and introduced the players. A match of two opposing styles. Thomas raised on the rough foosie streets has a bruising, bullying and borderline illegal style. Sheldon being beautiful himself plays a beautiful, finesse style game. What a treat for those in attendance.

Goal 1 – Thomas
A fluky own goal, you can feel the wind coming out of Sheldon’s sails with that one! Thomas takes the lead 1-0
Goal 2 – Thomas
Thuggish tactics and borderline illegal plays resulted in another goal for Thomas
Goal 3 – Sheldon
The best goal of the tournament so far, a beautiful set up with a beautiful finish. The dream is alive!
Goal 4 – Thomas
The dream is dead, game over. Thomas advances and Sheldon is the first to enter the 2nd chance bracket.
