Die Leute von Stoner Rock Austria zählten von Anfang an zu unseren größten Supporten und haben 2015 in der KAPU ein feines Event gehostet. Kurz darauf haben wir unser debut Album released. Aber das ist eine andere Story.

Cojones aus dem schönen Zagreb sind in Linz längst keine Unbekannten mehr, und selten hat sich jemand einen passenderen Bandnamen ausgesucht! Mit keiner anderen Band haben wir uns die Bühne öfter geteilt. Umso schöner, dass die Heavy Rocker sich noch ein letztes Mal die Ehre geben und für eine Special-Show die Stahlstadt besuchen. Euch erwartet ein druckvoller Mix aus Stoner und Alternative-Rock, mit Tonnen von Riffs, garniert mit einer Brise 70er Hard Rock. Einen besseren Act, um unsere letzte Show einzuläuten könnten wir uns nicht vorstellen.

back in 2013 we have been on a weekender with Grandloom and Greenleaf. Thanks to Pawel Zandl for hosting so many great nights for us in Salzburg.

die Veranstaltung die uns sicher am Anfang unserer Bandgeschichte am meisten geprägt hat, hörte auf den klingenden Namen Stelz'n Gaudi. Dort durften wir uns auch die Bühne mit einigen befreundeten Bands wie Sahara Surfers, Go Bananas und Cojones teilen. Gemeinsam mit Freunden organisiert, wurde hier auch der Grundstein für eigene Veranstaltungsreihen wie die Night of Fuzz gelegt.

Another trip back in time.
In 2012 we released our split EP together with Ca****bo de Paz "Use the Fuzz". Johan Jaccob from Glowsun did the fantastic artwork and we went on our first real tour playing 10 shows in a row in Austria, Germany and Belgium.
One of our highlights at that time was the sold out show at home in Linz at KAPU 🔥

Back in 2011 MUSHCREAM BOOKING hosted two nights with the italian stallions of Doctor Cyclops at our homebase Ann and pat and DasBACH. We first met at the legendary Mushroom Jam in Bavaria and went on a couple of roadtrips through Germany and Austria together after that. Unfortunately there are no pictures of us together, but we will never forget: beware of the Italian sword!

It was also the same time that we recorded our second EP "Use the Fuzz" with our fellow fuzzheads Ca****bo de Paz, but that's another story...

Another blast from the past for you to start into the week.

Solar Orbit war der erste Song den wir gemeinsam als Band geschrieben, gespielt und aufgenommen haben.

Der Song hat auf jeden Fall die Richtung für uns vorgegeben, auch wenn wir uns noch finden mussten.
Vor 12(!!) Jahren released und damals über den Stonerrobi # # # Blog (gibt's den noch?) erstmals bissi internationale Stonerrock Szene Luft schnuppern dürfen. Aged pretty well I guess.

Obwohl sich Parasol Caravan 2009 gegründet hat, wurde erst 2011 nach einer Findungsphase und dem einzigen Besetzungswechsel begonnen intensiv live zu spielen. Vincent übernahm damals von Manuel am Schlagzeug. Zur selben Zeit haben uns unsere Freunde von GO BANANAS das erste Mal nach Hallein ins legendäre Freysitz eingeladen und uns kurz darauf mit Cojones aus Kroatien connected. Besonderer Dank an Hubi an dieser Stelle 😉

Dieser Abend im im April 2011 hat so einiges für uns losgetreten. Nicht nur, dass es der Startschuss für eine Vielzahl an eigenen Veranstaltungen gemeinsam mit MUSHCREAM BOOKING (Danke Marcos Alejandro K - Night of Fuzz, Fuzzfest, Fuzz Unleashed,...aber das ist eine andere Geschichte) war, sondern er führte auch zu einer Freundschaft zwischen unseren Bands, die zu zwei DIY Europatourneen mit Cojones führte. Mit keiner anderen Band haben wir die Bühne öfter geteilt und so viele schöne, aber mitunter auch gruslig-absurde (Kettensägen Gate in Belgien) gemeinsame Momente gefeiert.

FINAL RETURN TO SPACE TOUR

Mit Bedauern müssen wir den Countdown zu unserer vorerst letzten Mission starten.
Bevor alle Treibstoffreserven verbraucht sind und wir als endlos umherirrendes Wrack in der Erdumlaufbahn enden, wollen wir ein letztes Abenteuer wagen, um danach in den Tiefen des Weltraums zu entschwinden.

Mit anderen Worten: Wir haben beschlossen, nicht mehr live zu spielen. Unsere kommenden drei Konzerte werden daher unsere vorläufig letzten sein.

In den vergangenen 14 Jahren hat sich vieles im Parasol Caravan Kosmos verändert. Zeit und Raum erweisen sich auf Erden weniger flexibel als in der Nähe supermassereicher schwarzer Löcher (besonders wenn supermassearme Sprösse im Spiel sind), deshalb haben wir beschlossen, diese Reise vorerst zu beenden.

Vielleicht werden wir in Zukunft wieder an Riffs in unserem Proberaum schreiben, aber für den Moment wollen wir uns auf andere Dinge im Leben konzentrieren.
Dank euch konnten wir diese Reise beginnen. Mit euch haben wir atemberaubende Abenteuer und bewegende Momente erlebt.

Also lasst uns dieses Kapitel auch gemeinsam beschließen, lasst uns noch ein (eigentlich drei) Mal feiern, tanzen und die besten Riffs von hier bis Mos Eisley genießen.

It seems like our voyage has found its final mission. Before we reach the point of no return and end as an endless drifting wreck in earth’s orbit, we decided to head out for one last adventure and return to outer space afterwards.

In other words: we decided to stop playing live and our upcoming three shows will be our last so far.
Things change and after our 14 year long space trip with Parasol Caravan we decided to end this journey for now.

Maybe we will write some more riffs in our rehearsal room in the future and hail the almighty fuzz, but for now we need some space (got it?) and want to concentrate on other things in life.

Thank you for joining our trip and supporting us on our journey. So let’s celebrate one (actually three) more time(s), bang our heads until our necks get sore and enjoy the best riffs between Earth and Mos Eisley together.
