Most companies either purchase a shower curtain design from a manufacturer, or order prefabricated products with designs that any company can buy online. That’s why you often see the same designs, over and over again - they are the exact same products sold by different brands.

All of the Bathage designs are original. Our founder, Ellen Siebers, is a Brooklyn-based artist and looks to modern and minimal art for inspiration. Bathage also collaborates with local designers for limited editions. All our patterns are unique to Bathage, and are created with a genuine love and interest in great design.

we love shower curtains.
why?
Because at six feet square, the shower curtain is one of the largest items on display in your home. Yet as design trends and tastes have advanced, the shower curtain has been overlooked. A shower curtain is the predominate visual element in any bathroom, and an opportunity to display something beautiful and fresh.
We take inspiration from contemporary and minimal art and design, and pay equal mind to creating a functional, usable product. One that is clean, washable, beautiful, and sustainable.
