Why yes, I did get another copy of Carter the Unstoppable S*x Machine's "1992 The Love Album"! I think this makes maybe 9 or 10 copies. Of course this one has extra goodies, which makes it special!

The odds of me sending people to Whamhalla on Saturday at the Krampus Does Denver event is inversely proportionate to the number of people there. If there are only 50 people there, there will be a 50% chance I play Last Christmas, but if there are more than 100, I definitely won't.
So do your duty to your fellow (hu)man and come out!

Ugh. Here we go again. Someone I respected as an artist has done something unforgivable, and I find myself forced to publicly decry their actions and shine a light on them.
Seriously, Brian/The Gothsicles, WTF? What in the actual F**K?
How could you turn your back on all the artists who helped propel you forward in the scene, collaborated with you, played your songs in clubs, bought your music, shared space with you, and encouraged others to listen to your work? How could you give a platform to a well-known transphobe and increase their reach, making life that much more dangerous and terrifying for one of the most marginalized and target communities around? How could you have swung so far around the morality compass that that seemed acceptable?
Your choice to give a transphobe a platform directly affects so many people I know and care about, many of whom have become my chosen family and who call me Dad, Brother, and Uncle. It affects people who I love as if they were MY OWN CHILDREN. It affects artists you collaborated with, who now look back at their time making music with you and wonder if they were safe to be in your company. It affects the whole scene because your poison brush has tainted us all. There are now trans kids who were thinking about going to their first goth/industrial show as their true selves and will now stay home or, worse, stay hidden.
As a proud member of the LGBTQA+ community and a mixed-race person, your journey into the alt-right and sharing spaces with bigots and transphobes is nothing less than you publicly saying you value me less as a human because of who I am and the genes I was born with.
The only upside to this is that I will now have more space on my hard drive and more time in my gigs for artists who arenโt actively trying to destroy my community. (GIF for the )

Another gig announcement coming soon! Here's a hint. . .
So yeah, I may have bought yet another copy of Carter USM's 1992 The Love Album, but dammit, it's a new issue. Only $37ish for the CD set shipped to the States from the UK is not too bad. Now I've got to figure out which coworker will unwillingly donate a kidney so I can buy the vinyl.
