It’s been a long time. Lots of things are happening. But something that is always with me every week is bubbles. 🥂

It makes me so happy to think of the experiences, friends and family that my travels has given me.

Bubbles are special because they bring people together in a unique celebratory manner.

Life is more fun with bubbles and I love it.

Island life

The last days has been slow and fantastic.
Beach day at Vilanova, fish market, local tomatoes and salad an of course local bubbles and lots of pool for the kids .

Tomorrow it’s again and a visit our friends at before siesta.

Still 3 days to soak up Catalonia before we go home. ❤️

Today a visit at fantastic It’s always great to come back.

Thank you so much for having us, although the corpinat gastronomic week makes everything more busy than usual. 🥂🎉

Last 3,5 hours in the car before we arrive in Penedes!
It has been a LONG wait to come back to our beloved second home and all the friends.

This time, as so many others, we bring friends from Sweden who will experience it all for the first time.

I remember in 2011 when it was our first time in the area and it feels like an other life.

Today I’ve been at the sparkling wine fair in Stockholm. 🥂🥂

Amazing to see so many of my dear friends and also new favourites present.

with his new rosé! (So good! Highly recommend!)

with their new à Pel rosé! (Super good and also highly recommended!)

with all they make (HIGHLY recommended as always!)

and you know how I ADORE them!

For all my non-Spanish friends!
If you come across a bottle with this type of closing… this is how you do it!

1. Take of the foil.
2. Get a normal knife, not a sharp one!
3. Slide it into the space in the side
4. Gently turn the knife “upward” which makes the metal holder slide off the neck.
5. Hold the cork steady while you turn it.
Voila!

I know that reserva de familia has these closings on the bottles sold within Spain.

But now you know!

Love the colour, the freshness, the fruits and the delicate bitterness at the end!

It’s perfect to jamón, fuet, manchego, taleggio and french farmer’s cheese (all ready tried!). And I’m positive it will be splendid to Andreas mushroom risotto!
