Our Story

An L.A. based podcast brought to you by two forensic psychologists who dissect the intersections where true crime, forensic psychology, & entertainment meet.

We met during our doctoral program internship in 2008. We sat back- to-back in a tiny intern office, slaving over our dissertations, making plans for our first careers as psychological assistants and learning all about treating criminal offenders.

After grad school, Dr. Shiloh decided not to move forth with the FBI and continued working with s*x offenders while Dr. Scott began his journey in the state prison system (as a clinician, of course). Ten years later, they found themselves working in downtown Los Angeles with a large law enforcement agency, although in different roles. Over lunch one day, they cranked out notes for starting their own podcast, coming up with the name L.A. Not So Confidential while walking back to the their respective offices.

And here we are.
