Ngayon, ating ipinagdiriwang ang ika-126 na anibersaryo ng paglaya ng Pilipinas mula sa kamag ng mga dayuhang mananakop. Kalayaang bunga ng mga sulat boses na pilit kumawala at puwersa ng tapang na nagbigay pag-asa.

Isang daang taon mahigit ang lumipas, ngunit, ganap ba taying malaya? Sa mga kinakaharap na pagsubok ng bansa gaya ng paglaban para sa West Philippine Sea, hindi tamang pagtrato at pasahod sa mga Pilipinong manggagawa, biktima ng karahasan, pagkitil sa malayang pagpapahayag at iba pa. Ang kadena nito'y sala-salabid na kasinungalingan, pagpapakalat ng making impormoaston, at pagtago ng katotohanan.

Sa patuloy na mga badya, mananatiling nakatayo ang The Pillar's Herald Publication bilang saligan ng mapagkakatiwalaang impormasyon.

Huwag hayaang mawalan ng boses ang katotohanan, patuloy na ipaglaban ang Kalayaan.

Sir Raymus, one of our department's gems, celebrates his birthday today. On this special day, we'd like to take a moment to celebrate not only your birthday, but also the incredible person you are and the impact you have on everyone. Your commitment to The Pillar's Herald Publication and your love of teaching have touched our lives in countless ways. You continually inspire us with your wisdom, kindness, and unwavering support.

As the head of our publication, you have shown us the true meaning of leadership and commitment. Under your guidance, The Pillar's Herald grew becoming the voice for our school community and a platform for creativity and expression.

May this year bring you happiness, good health, and all the success you deserve. We look forward to many more years of learning, growing, and achieving great things together with you, sir. Three Senior High School Pillaricans have courageously represented the Division of Cauayan City at the recently concluded 2024 Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) with the theme “Charting Truth: Journalism as a Catalyst for Positive Change in the Media Landscape of 2024". Held at Tuguegarao's People's Gymnasium, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan, from May 2-4, 2024.

World Press Freedom Day is a celebration that recognizes journalists and media workers towards their pivotal role in promoting press freedom to society. It aims to remind the people of the significant contribution of journalists in rendering reliable and credible public information, and in setting forth people's right to free speech. This day also commemorates journalists and media organizations and the challenges they perceive such as threats, red-tagging, and censorship, just to sustain stain-free information to all.

Keep your grip strong Journalists, and Heralds, the string of hope of an untainted nation relies on the heralds of truth.

LOOK | OLPCC's Concert for a Cause ft. CoJ

OLPCC - The Our Lady of the Pillar College Cauayan concluded the 2024 Open House event with a concert that featured four bands including the Cup of Joe in the school's Grandstand held yesterday night, April 26.

The band's song "Tingin" made the crowd roar as everyone sang along to one of their most famous songs.

They further raised the hype through their song "Estranghero" to end a night to remember for the Pillaricans, and the Joewhas.

OLPCC- Senior High School Pillaricans presented various event booths for the OPEN HOUSE 2024. There are four booths in total which include the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, ans Mathematics) Spark, Contemporary Philippine Arts from the Regions booth, Cinema, and ABM (Accountancy and Business Management) Club.

Foods and drinks are served, various science exhibits such as Electric Bump Maze, Biomimicry, Frozen Shadow, and different types of arts made by grade 12 ABM and STEM students inspired from various cultures in the Philippines are showcased.

Additionally , various films made by the grade 12 students particularly: Valeria, Vows of Truth, Philomena Run, Kain na and Kumpisal were viewed in the Cinema booth.

OLPCC - Open House 2024 at Our Lady of the Pillar College- Cauayan ( OLPCC) started with dazzling performances by talented Pillaricans from various departments. Students showcased their skills by dancing P-pop hits of trending moves to traditional dances.They also performed with different skills in taekwondo, captivating the audience with their exceptional talents.

OLPCC - The Our Lady of the Pillar College-Cauayan officially started its OPEN HOUSE 2024 Event where different schools around the Cauayan City have been invited to join the said celebration that is held at school grounds, today April 26, 2024.

Various programs will be presented, from the intermission shows of OLPCC Grade School Department to the Senior High School Department and College, and the most awaited CUP OF JOE Concert for a Cause

ILAGAN CITY - Student Athletes from the Our Lady of the Pillar College Cauayan prepares for the 2024 Cagayan Valley Regional Athletic Association Meet held at Ilagan, Isabela held April 26 to 30, 2024.

Pillarican Athletes will be representing the division of Cauayan.

A total of nine delegations will be competing in this year's edition consisting of Batanes, Cagayan, Cauayan City, City of Ilagan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Santiago City, and Tuguegarao City.

The OLPC-C Senior High School Publication Team has earned a spot on the School Paper Contest Secondary Level in the Division School Press Conference (DSPC) 2024 held at Cauayan City National High School. The Publication placed 3rd out of 12 competing schools in the whole division of Cauayan City.
