My wonderful sister and I had a blessed birthday weekend working for the Orishas 🤍 I will never forget how they have continuously protected, loved, and guided me throughout my now 25 yrs of life. On to many more years of wisdom! Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes.🎉

She is a Priestess of Shango, and blesses the brooms with the power of her Orishas that she received. This is a recent offering I have to my Santos 🍊🍇🍌🍐 Fruits are one of the most powerful offerings (adimus) we can give to the Orishas to show our gratitude. Something as simple as this, can change realities and make what seems impossible happen right before your eyes. The power is in the ASHE we put behind this kind of offering. Gratitude is the most powerful energy. Giving thanks for the divine guidance and protection we receive is one of the first lessons in Ifa and Santeria.

Fun fact: You absolutely can eat the fruits that have been given to Orishas. They have blessed it with their Ashe and it is one of the ways they keep on giving. 🤍✨

Just got home from a full 8 hours at school. About to continue making batches for my upcoming market this Sunday. All I can think of is how proud I am of myself for being able to work this hard. Working 2 jobs and going to school full-time is HARD. But I’m doing it and I am good at it. Sometimes I don’t even realize how much of my energy I am spending everyday. In my eyes, this is an investment into my future and my community who really benefit from my creations and want me to keep making them. I changed into white when I got home from class and I could just feel Obatala surrounding me. He gives me the strength and mental stability to keep going, to stay organized, and my mind focused on accomplishing my goals. I’m having a beautiful moment of reflection guys. I am definitely my father’s daughter. (IYKYK).
One thing I do know is I wouldn’t be able to continue without the support of my family and friends, and wonderful community of Brujas, spiritualists, and Orisha devotees. I’m overwhelmed with love for my life and all the busy-ness it comes with.

I cannot explain how blessed I feel to have grown up in such a beautiful tradition of Ifa and Santo. Everyday I feel closer to my Orishas, Orula, and My Eggun. 🤍🕯️the more i work and learn about way of IFA makes me fall in love with the tradition more and more. After every ceremony I feel closer to my ILE and spirituality. I’m so proud to have the crown of Obatalá Ayaguna.🤍❤️🤍✨ And Lucumi Apetebi💚💛 I swear I’ve learned so much about myself through this journey and how much this tradition has done for me. I’m having so much fun getting to know the new Francesca. Lol, just some of my Sunday reflections

Gratitude ✨🤎 i felt called to create a candle that can be used at the dinner table during times of togetherness and friendship. She made 4 Oshun brooms for tomorrow, and Oshun is the Orisha that represents love, fertility, marriages, wealth, self-love, and determination. Oshun is the mother and nurture of the humans.
