And just like that the minis and all their friends and family gathered to give coach Heather and her assistant Kirsty one last runaround. Everyone at the club is grateful for the efforts of our volunteer coaches who work out fun sessions and winning strategies. Kirsty is one of our original members and is heading off to St Andrew’s Uni. Heather is leaving Stirling Uni and looking to secure a job in sports development. Two fabulous role models and examples of different career paths. Good Luck and come back and see us soon #themightyclydesdaleclan

It's #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek! This year Place2Be's theme is all about making meaningful connections throughout the week and beyond. We asked our Junior members what they like about netball and Clydesdale Netball Club and connection was a big part of it for them all! Check out the video below to see more ⬇️🤩 Having a healthy relationship with ourselves and others can help improve our mental health. It’s essential to our well-being! You can connect with others by telling them a joke, reminding them of a nice memory you have together, or by asking how they are and listening carefully to their answer. To help build our inner connection with ourselves we can write down things that we are proud of, listen to a song that makes us happy, or by spending some time on our favourite hobby. This #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek, and every week, Let's Connect!

It's #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek! This year, Place2Be's theme is all about making meaningful connections throughout the week and beyond. We recently asked our Junior members what they liked about netball and the club. From the video below it's clear to see connection was a big part of it for them all! Having a healthy relationship with ourselves and others can help improve our mental health. It’s essential to our well-being! We can do this in lots of ways. To connect with others we can tell someone a joke, remind someone of a nice memory you have together, ask someone how they are and really listen to their answer. It is important to build that inner connection with ourselves and we can do that by listening to a song that makes us happy, writing down things that we are proud of and spending some time on our favourite hobby! We have one very special person to wish a happy birthday today. Mhairi we hope you are taking a wee netball break and having an incredible day 🍾🎂

It’s women and girls in sport week. We are proud to support such an amazing range of opportunities for women and girls of all ages and abilities. If you would like to try netball for the first time or after a long break you can come to Lanark Grammar tonight (Wednesday) at 7pm for walking netball at an easy pace, or 8pm for social netball. Or try both if you are not sure which one is for you.
