This is one of the sweetest couples I know - so in love and so joyful! They are celebrating their first Christmas being married - we met in the woods on a very chilly morning to do this photoshoot - they chose the woods because last Chrismas they got engaged in the snowy forest

I was super excited when Alyssa asked me to take her pregnancy photos - and even more excited to find out we would be doing them at the same place her and Mike got married! It was so fun to capture this next chapter in their lives together at the same location they said their "I do's".

What was expected to be a nice sunny spring day for a photoshoot turned out to be cold and drizzly. But it didn't keep us from going out to take photos! These girls were troopers and it was definately more of an adventure - we came out the other side a little wet but with lots of great photos!

It was a rainy day but we braved the weather and went out anyways! The ground was soggy but the rain let up for just the right amount of time we needed to get some beautiful family portraits! Coloma was decked with Christmas garlands and holly, the trees were vibrant with fall colors, and the sky was the perfect soft-box. I've been waiting anxiously to share these - but had to wait as some were being given as Christmas gifts (shhhhh). But I've got the all-clear now! :) Merry Christmas from the Syres family and Reflections of the Heart Photography!
