She sat in my virtual knitting class last year October-November. She came prepared. She came to learn. She did a lot of self study/ practice.
Her family was there for her (big kiddos to her parents) !
Before each class we said these words:
“I will be patient with myself as I learn and I will have fun”.

Embracing Personal Growth and Skill Development

It's great to see you starting your journey and working on your skills. As you continue to develop your ideas, you'll also develop yourself.
💁🏾♀️Let me share a personal experience – when I began knitting, my focus was on improving my craft. However, I found myself struggling with impatience towards my progress and the learning curve.
🤔Struggled with Self-Doubt and Perfectionism🤔
I used to knit and unravel constantly, due to tension problems or sometimes I would just throw it all away. I would compare myself and my work to others, which made me question my purpose and vision.
🕵️♀️In the quest to improve knitting skills, important aspects were overlooked. As you work to enhance your craft, don't forget to consider other important factors such as
💕knowing who you are in God
💕learning how to grow without putting unnecessary burden on yourself.
💕living a purposeful life that is free from societal pressure.

💫Keep in Mind: Pursuing Growth in Your Work/Craft/Skills Leads to Personal Evolution💫
It's important to understand that as you work towards growth and development in your professional life, you are also evolving as a person. This means that your beliefs, character, mindset, relationships, communication, self-esteem, and more will shift and transform. It's crucial to be kind and patient with yourself during this evolution.

My mom has been in town visiting us for about 5 weeks and she already made 2 full throws / twin size blankets 🤩! I can’t wait to reveal all her amazing crochet 🧶 that will be available for sale. More pics coming soon.
The joy 🤩 of having my mum this season is beyond measure! I am finally getting over my fears of crochet and you may just see something I made too 😉.
