Here, I wrote this true life story recently, yet to officially hit publish - Its my life's personal story and I'd like to send a few people the story if you request. Hit my inbox or comment here if you'd like to read!
The best way to enjoy your relationship or marriage is to remain as kids, play like kids, joke like kids, forgive like kids and sometimes even eat like kids, probably on the floor - Stop 'ACTING' and just live. The problem with most adults or we as adults is that we act too much even without realizing it, we act mature, we act tough, we act like we got it all figured out etc...
Not realizing that by doing this, we are shutting the fun out of the relationship and closing the door to vulnerability. Most times my wife does this "cry baby facial expression" when she wants me to do something, and it's just funny, its not a vise, it's just to make me laugh and do what she has requested.
There is no perfect relationship, quite alright, but you can tremendously improve it by being big babies.
----------------------------------------------------
These are lessons my wife has taught me.
----------------------------------------------------
The truth is even as adults we all still have that child part in us, we mostly miss playing like children, why not bring it alive again when you're with your partner and just enjoy life together - My wife knows me for this, i play a lot, oh yes i do, and before i got married, I've always asked this question (whoever i'm dating) i asked them, how their level of humor reception is.
Because sometimes i could be really silly (in a funny way) and do silly things in public that are almost unbelievable.
And i must say, this is the best part of me, and it has helped me in all the relationships i have ever been involved.

Some advice are timeless & priceless, it doesn't matter whether they come in form of quotes or article, some even come in form of brand slogans - But the point is, as long as it gears us to make the necessary moves, then it's worth taking.
I wrote a piece and it's been published on Influencive, you can read it here: https://www.influencive.com/the-3-words-of-advice-that-have-made-more-high-achievers/
The 3 Words of Advice That Have Made More High Achievers Sometimes, all we need is the right piece of advice to get us moving toward our dreams.
If you have been following the stories posted on my profile on and you're anticipating our first official audio or video show, then I'm proud to announce that our first audio podcast show will be live soon and it's gonna be featuring Christina Roulund we're talking implants and the possible complications that might be attached to it.
More details coming soon, also our video series are being pre-recorded too.
From now on, new stories and episodes will be published here, the old stories on my profile will be moved here in the coming weeks, I'm also working on the website, it'll all be ready soon.
Ditch your cable TV, ditch your slow broadband that promised you 4G but is giving you 2G instead, ditch the hassles of having wire all over. Welcome to a new world where just 1box is all you need to do everything.
-
There's nothing more limiting than having to juggle between multiple devices, the stress alone can get you worked out, and on top of that, when you're trying to do something important online and yet your network just seem to be making you have a bad day.
You need nothing less than "BETTER" so that you can be limitless in your productivity and become even more efficient.
That is what 1box is bringing to the table, the power of "ONE" that controls everything.
Now life can become easier, you can have more fun with just one piece of device you can do everything, surf the net with super speed, watch your favorite tv shows & movies or listen to your best radio or podcast programs even on the go.
I have been yearning for something that'll give me so much freedom like this, it seems like it's only enjoyed by people in Europe and other foreign countries (why not us?) I keep asking! But now all that is changing in a moment.
The team at 1box network is making the game changer and a shift that'll revolutionize how cable tv, Internet and radio is streamed in this part of the world.
In the coming weeks I'll be interviewing someone from the management team at 1box and we'll be discussing more on how they intend to make life better for their customers and what are some of the goodies they have in store for their customers.
Nothing beats, comfort, speed, compatibility and flexibility all boxed up in 1box.
If we want to see more WOMEN succeed in our society without the (oh she must have slept with the whole men before achieving this or that). I think more MEN need to stand up for WOMEN to kick against this oppression that WOMEN go through. (to be continued)
- A Letter To MTN Nigeria -
Dear MTN thank you for fixing the network issue for those living in Snake island Lagos. I was contacted that throughout last week, surfing the internet using MTN in that area was really difficult. The person who got in touch with me said he had to call the customer care to even lay complain about the situation.
Thankfully, it seems everything is back to normal. Because not quite long ago, he got in touch with me that his internet is working fine now.
Why am i writing this? I do have a house over there at Snake island and also close to takwa-bay. I must confess, MTN data network isn't one of the best we have in Nigeria, it is simply the best and strongest. Whenever i'm on those islands, i enjoy surfing with MTN, one can even do video or IM calls with hardly any glitch.
surfing the net in such rural places require only a stable network and that's what MTN offer.
But i have a few complain or should i say observations that i must bring to light.
(1) I think you should know that being the largest mobile network in Nigeria (if not Africa), people in these rural areas deserve to have access to a customer care walk-in centers around these places. So that it would be easier to sort out any issues they might be having. Knowing that not all your customers are educated or know how to contact your virtual agents via 180
(2) Secondly, i want to draw your attention to this, i have been holding this back for over 3 years now, but i guess today is the day i must say it. In your walk-in centers, most of your customer care agents there don't know how to subtly take care of your customers. They talk rashly as though you're about to beg them for money or as if they're doing you a favor. It's very unprofessional, i have experienced it several times, especially at the branch in calcutta cresent apapa. And i've noticed it's a trend with your female staffs mostly.
(3) That said, my 3rd issue is with the MANUAL activation of your 4G data network. okay i understand that customers are told to send the command "4G" to 131. But even at that, if the phone is compatible, i notice that another message is sent across that the customer should still go to your walk-in centers for activation, which to me i feel is total stress. Why can't it be automated just like the other ones.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
I am more like a brand evangelist for MTN Nigeria, i have converted more people to the network in the last 10 years(or more than). I have about 3 registered MTN lines, that said, i think the issues i pointed out above should be looked into so as to help serve we your loyal customers well. Word of mouth marketing will help take the brand even higher if we are satisfied.
Drops Pen: Afterthoughts will be in the comment section. Thank you so much for reading.
Problem is planted in a person's life when he/she refuses to do the right thing(s) when necessary - Then it bears fruits when nature demands results from what ought to have been done. ~Turner Andrew
Good afternoon everyone, This is a follow up from last time. if you remember, earlier i made a post asking whether i have enough reason to SUE and in that post i tagged my lovely barrister friends Ifeoma Ben and also Barinaada Joy Bema in which case Barinaada responded to the post and gave me instruction on what to do and if then they failed to revert the caller-tunes imposed, i can then write to them again, then probably call once more for the last time before i can then go ahead to SUE them.
I also consulted my wife Debby on this matter and we reached the same conclusion based on what barrister Joy Bema had already advised, So today i called the customer care line and i laid my complain, i also made sure the call was recorded from my end for future reference purpose. and i've included the link on this post.
This is the call link https://drive.google.com/file/d/14Agf3xccXS-_s3uIL3fL70Fc0bKlKZI4/view if you'd like to listen.
meanwhile, the lady told me that any time i want to cancel caller-tune service the code is *251*2 # But if this statement means that there is a possibility that they'll probably still impose caller-tunes in the future on my line or any of their unsuspecting customers, i wouldn't know yet. But i'll have to start taking note of this as from today.
Thanks to everyone who supports me on this journey.
I think I need to file a case against for damages caused to my image.
I'm a preacher and a life coach, and for this reason there is a model of lifestyle that should be displayed, and how people see me so as to initiate the right kind of influence.
Dear barrister on my list kindly advice me on what I should do on this matter, can i sue this telco company mentioned above and request that they pay damages for tarnishing of image?
-
Please permit me if you've been tagged to this post, usually I wouldn't do such except something is really important.
So here's my case, I own a 9mobile line which is my private line and it's what clients or family and church members call me on.
Recently someone called me and said my caller tune wasn't good for the kind of person I am, especially if I'm hoping to be a good influence to the teenagers - The content of the caller tune was really not pleasant for my audience kind.
It could cost me my career - But before this was pointed out, I never knew I even had a caller tune, until this person told me.
-
Then I tried my line the caller tune wasn't there, so I thought it was some sort of mistake and that it was gone for good at least.
-
But then on Saturday as I was heading back to Lagos from the north where I went for a ministerial event, my dad was calling to know how smooth my journey is, but he was quickly repelled by the immoral songs that were being played as my caller tune - Today he had to call my attention to it!
-
He stated that whenever you call, you'd hear a different song each time - and they aren't all good. (as regards the kind of person I am)
-
Now the problem is, I have no idea how many people this has put off, I didn't ask 9mobile to subscribe me to any caller tune but it was forced on me, I guess this is what they secretly do to all their customers but an end must be put to this.
-
Please if you've been tagged, kindly let me know if I have a case already
- How To Handle Being Let Down By Those Who Motivate You -
-
I've met people who had so much potentials but they give up every single time someone they look up to as a mentor(s) leaves and wants them to sustain by themselves.
-
The truth is, our Mentors might not be around forever to show us everything, there are things we might have to learn by ourselves on this journey called (life). Whether you run a business or you work in a corporate setting, there are people who get you going, but when they seem to drop off, you may seem to lose touch with your motivation - You suddenly begin to spiral down (gradually) sometimes very fast, and you just drain out. But how can you stay highly motivated even if your mentor or someone who just motivates you isn't there anymore?
-
Thanks to my article on "How to stay motivated even if your mentor drops off" has been published. You can read here: https://www.influencive.com/how-to-handle-being-let-down-by-someone-who-motivates-you/
How to Handle Being Let Down by Someone Who Motivates You Here's how to move on without external support.
"You're Actually Doing Better Than You Think You Are"
---------------------------------------------
The reality of life is this, sometimes you'd never know how great you're at what you are doing until you succeed - But most of us never get there, we give up along the line because we don't truly see any progress, therefore in most cases we blame it on lack of resources. It's not even lack of support support from peer groups or family members, I've written on this and it has been published on read full article here: https://www.thriveglobal.com/stories/34020-your-limitation-isn-t-what-you-think-it-is
Your Limitation Isn't What You Think It Is It's not a lack of resource or group support
If you have ever failed mysteriously at something you put so much effort and hopes on - Then this will make sense to you, I wrote about how to handle failure or being rejected repeatedly.
This will help you navig*te your way through (Read here) https://www.influencive.com/how-to-finally-win-even-if-you-have-repeatedly-failed/
How to Finally Win Even If You Have Repeatedly Failed Three key things I realized from failing and being rejected.
I believe that in this age and time - For a business to actually succeed & thrive it goes beyond just big funding. There are a few more elements that makes up a successful brand or thriving business which not many are looking at, hence why so much businesses crash during their first year or two - So I've outlined the 3 outstanding ways your business or idea can succeed and thrive in this era... Read here: https://www.influencive.com/the-3-outstanding-ways-your-business-can-take-off-and-thrive-in-this-era/ You'll be glad you did. 😊
The 3 Outstanding Ways Your Business Can Take Off and Thrive in This Era Here's how to keep up with the ever-changing world of business.
When you have tried and tried so many times without experiencing any form of breakthrough - Then you'll understand what TIMAYA meant when he sang in one of is song thus "I Nearly Join Yahoo Yahoo Boys" 😂😂
-
To be very honest with you, life ain't (fair) or easy at all [with anyone] whether some were born into a home with golden chairs and silver spoon, it doesn't mean life is still entirely fair with them. I've seen rich people die of chronic diseases while the extremely poor survives the same thing! Is life fair?
-
Should this make you live your life in hate and dislike of those who are doing better in some areas of life than you are?
-
Should you do bad things because your ol'school mate has gotten a bug*tti and you're still stuck with your legedis-benz? No I do not think so.
-
I think life gives all of us a room to make a meaningful contribution/impact no matter what level we find ourselves in. Whether you're rich or extremely poor, still don't play small in that your field.
-
Don't be consumed by hate and forget to do what's right and noteworthy (the little big way you can).
-
Start living a life that is beyond the ordinary you currently see yourself.
= A Letter To You =
When I first met you, I saw something in you (something nice, a lot of potential, something great that the world needs). Then I came closer, I find myself falling in love every day that I knew you.
You were such a darling, I thought within me - "Hmmmmn! If we groom this potentials, you'll really do well to bring light & life to the dreams of others.
The more I grew closer to you the more you interest me (and the more potentials I saw lying within you).
You didn't know, but I know it when I see one, (I saw wealth of knowledge within you, hidden in rust but still very usable if cleaned up).
It's like gold buried in dust - disguised in mud, but a good eye can spot it and know the worth.
So you were, I tried to reach out but you pushed me away, I tried to help but you refused my help, I tried to make you understand but you shut me down with noise of silence.
I couldn't force my way through because that would sound as (r**e) I didn't want to commit a crime against your perception.
I showed you visions of your future maybe this could help change your perception but you stick in the past, you remained in ignorance as a result of your unwillingness to learn knew things.
You dwelt on old knowledge that no longer has relevance in this age and time.
I cried, I lamented, I wailed for I couldn't just let you go like this without helping you see what is hidden within you.
I thought to myself, what can I possibly do to make you change your mind, to help you groom your mindset to believe in the new knowledge that can transform lives (that can change yours for the best).
Then I decided to write an "Open Letter" to you.
Here I am wailing on my bed for your sake. I don't like how you are wasting your time, your energy away on small/meaningless things, I love you and I believe you can do better and bigger things if you allow yourself to dive deeper a little more. If you are willing to explore just a little more.
So I called myself to a corner in my corridor and said to myself "look Turner" it's high time you tell her the truth, it's about time you tell him the truth about who he is so that, that greatness won't just waste away like that.
So here is the truth: Even the Bible mentioned that the truth will set you free, I want to set you free likewise I want to set myself free from this pain I'm carrying everyday that I see you wasting away like someone with no destination.
Oh yes, here is the truth: let me set you free indeed.
* The truth is, you're playing it too small and it's not helping you.
* The truth is that you have given your life and whole thought process to [complacency] and its freaking ruining your life like bu****it. (excuse me but I tend to get aggressive when I'm saying the truth)
* The truth is, you're more than you think you are, but you've buried your uniqueness in mediocrity and denied yourself the right to own a better life, a better result and a bigger dream.
* The truth is, you're bigger in the inside than you see yourself from the outside - but you've been defining yourself by the shape and things you only see with your physical eyes. Look within, dare to dream bigger - ditch your limiting beliefs and you'll see a sudden turning around in your life and career.
* The truth is, your capacity or capability isn't measured by your physical strength or limited by your language, it is limited by your belief (the thoughts you chose to dwell on).
My word to you today (something you should stick on your wall, write on your phone reminder) is "You're way bigger than how you see yourself or what someone else thinks about you, and you're doing better than you thought you were"
Keep pushing, keep dreaming and keep doing.

Get Your Network Right & Your Net-worth Will Immediately See Positive Changes.
--
For some reason, you may not be making good progress in life or making profits from your business because you are not doing something right -- I'll have to encourage you to go back and weigh the kind of people in your network. Who do you pally with? And how are they impacting your growth?

I believe the tribe you roll with, has a way of affecting your life either directly or indirectly.
If you aren't doing well in business, sales, lead generation and overall conversion - And none of the people you roll with can offer a solution (whether paid or free) then something is wrong. You need to change friends, It doesn't matter if they were your ol'school mates, your church members or members of family.
But if they aren't adding value of any kind to your life in some way, you've g*t to make the "U-turn" and change your tribe.
You'll be doing yourself a lot of good that your future self will thank you for.

I don't know why this is making me so emotional even to the point of bringing tears out! Gosh.... So I read something by "Jide Ogunsanya" He shared a story of someone I know.. What actually got me was, "It's not what you wear that matters or moves people, it's who you are that counts" well, that's not his exact quote but I had to refrain - But I got to realize that, too often we humans try too hard to impress others (average people precisely) wear clothes, shoes, caps, whatever it is, just to impress others. it's not worth it at all.
Focus more on building your life, reputation, credibility and stop wrecking yourself by trying too hard to impress people, trust me on this, no one gives a bleep about your fine dress (or maybe they do, but it's just temporal) what will last longer in people's minds down memory lane is your achievements.
'
So back to me, why am I crying? I'm crying because I remember when I used to impress people too, I messed up, those people today have achieved way bigger things than I have, I'm not jealous, I'm just telling you this so you can learn from my stupidity. It's crazy but it's the best advice that I can offer you before 2018, don't be a fool like me, don't be stupid like me - have a blessed day
Apparently, someone thinks it'll only be fair if Lenovo Africa signed me as their official brand evangelist in Nigeria, as i'm so in love with the brand and currently using my 4th Lenovo device and i find myself always going back to buy it as gift for anyone i want to gift a mobile phone. I think it's not a bad idea after-all.
| A WIN I'D LIKE TO SHARE |
[ WHAT DEFINES A TRUE LEADER & THE IMPORTANCE OF LABOR ]
And no, I didn't buy a new "Whip"
But I just want to share my deep thoughts on the importance of labor - and why you should do what you do because you love it and you feel by doing it, you'll impact and improve people's lives in one way or another.
Oh I did mention that I had a win to share, okay! So I'm a Christian, which most people still find very hard to believe, why? Because when you get to meet me one on one, you'd notice my beards like that of a Muslim cleric, which is fine by me as I'm a nonconformist by nature. (which speaks a lot about my appearance) and how I handle most things.
But that's not the point - So I'm a member of this ministry, and I've served for about 4 years (if my calculation is correct) without pay, every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, last Friday of the month, I'm there... Most people will bench because they just feel I should do a better job (it's not boasting).
And I'm not on training either.... I'm carrying out a full service duty to the ministerial & congreg*tional work. Now 4 years might not sound like a lot of years for some of you, but come to think of it, it's actually a whole lot of years when you think of the tasks that you'd need to carry out every week - I'm in the "WORD" department, I handle social media, and I also handle series of research too. Now that's a lot, not to talk of having to step out and mount the podium every 8-9 times per month to deliver a 50 minutes talk. (exhausting).
Some days I just don't feel like going, some days I feel like switching up my phone & pretend I was held up with other pressing issues that were personal. - I'm not gonna lie, I've done that once or twice - but it's the worst feeling ever & I've not fully forgiven myself for that.
Leadership & the labor that comes along with it can be so tough that you'd wish you were just a floor member... I sometimes wish I was, but I love to serve, because as a leader, you're not called to be served, you're called to serve people - thousands of people who depend solely on your strengths, expertise, and guidance.
This is why most people fail at leadership - They think life up here is all about being revered, people singing your praise here and there. Yes that will definitely happen, but behind the "scenes" we all know that nothing to compare with the tasks you'd need to carry out. (everyone who handles a leadership role, no matter what, or how small, definitely understands what I'm talking about).
SO WHAT DEFINES A LEADER?
It's the willingness to want to serve at all cost, the inner joy you feel whenever you are called for service...
Okay, I think I've deviated a bit, I had a story I'm supposed to share... So as I mentioned earlier, I've served in this ministry for about 4 years with no single penny paid as gratuity... I'd wake up 5 on Sundays to prepare for service, Tuesdays I'm there by 4:30pm. Thursdays, same, and Friday (last one of the month) I'm there 9:30pm till 12am.
LABOR!!! This has gone like this for years now, and to be sincere, up until now, I didn't even notice i wasn't even being paid to do all this. (someone may say, "but it's God's work, why expect a pay?) well, God knows I'd need to take care of so many things.. I have issues too & problems that only money can solve - But I guess his reward comes at the right time.
So just last month, I was called by the superior & told I've been placed on salary. (wow) that was my reaction, not because I was happy, (yes I was happy & I'm still happy) but that came out because I just realized that moment that for the past close to five years now, I've not been paid a penny, yet I've survived. Of course I have my businesses running for me, but that's not the point - what about those who don't have businesses like me? In fact this made me remember one of my superiors at my place of work last year.
I was working at this radio station, he worked in the charity department. And before he was placed on salary, he has worked for 7 years without a single pay.
So this sometimes make me wonder, what the rush is all about, when I often come across youths who just got here and are already jumping from one scheme to another, from one platform to another in a bid to make money overnight. (impatience) reaping without labor.
You can't sustain what you didn't sweat to get, you just can't utilize it well. And also I want you to know that "Value is determined by sacrifice" if you're not willing to sacrifice, you aren't gonna get any dividend.
So I'd like to encourage you (reading this article). Be patient, deliver your best, don't do it reluctantly, do it for & with love. Do it because you love to & not because you need the money, and if the pay come along the line, GREAT! share your wins as I've just done.
- See you at the top -
And kindly repost or share this article with someone you love & you want the best for them. Someone you know is already doing something magnificent but needs a little bit of motivation.
