Dr Natalie Thurtle, former MSF medical coordinator in Palestine, is live in Melbourne. We will broadcast her keynote address, cancelled last year in controversial circumstances. This will be followed by an expert panel will address how healthcare providers and organisations can and must be able to speak in an unprecedented and tense political climate, without harming and cancelling each other.

Eid-ul-Adha prayers 2024

With the support of many generous small businesses and individuals, MUIS will be hosting a bake sale this FRIDAY to raise funds for kids, families and individuals affected by the massacre in GAZA, PALESTINE and YEMEN! 🇵🇸🇾🇪!!!

There will be various sweets and savouries for everyone to purchase and support this need. 🧁 🍰

May Allah accept and bless our efforts. 🤲

The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "The believer's shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity." (Al-Tirmidhi)

All proceeds will be going towards Penny Appeal's Emergency Palestine and Yemen appeal which seeks to provide vital aid.

MUIS x MARS stand in support of MUP protest against the commemoration of IOF War Criminals on campus. It is beyond words that the University chooses to platform the agressor at a time when Israeli troops continue to pound refugee camps in Rafah, where 600,000 children are sheltering. The entire University community from staff to student cannot tolerate the persistent whitewashing of genocide that has no basis in the will of its students and faculty. We call on the university to cancel this event in the name of justice and sensibility.

In light of this, we invite the Monash community to join us at MU4P's protest where we will be hosting Maghreb prayer in jama'ah. Please take a look at the slides for more details.

Our long journey comes to an end, but a more beautiful journey awaits us with the blessing of our new musallah!

We thank everyone that was able to come down and support the opening, we were truly blessed to have seen such a big turnout. 🥹

It was a wonderful evening and it wouldn’t have been possible without you all and especially without our awesome committee that have been killing it since day one and that have been working together as a team thru 5 generations of committees to get to where we are now! ❤️
