Now we can generate income from selling crafts, making our own beers, making YouTube videos, streaming podcasts, being a fulltime blogger, working virtually, selling ideas, mentoring, coaching people in their careers and lives, and the list goes on.

Of course the pandemic has had a very, very thin silver lining; it forced many people to take a step into he unknown and rely on their passion, talents, or even just a hunch and pushed them to take the next step to earn a living (which they would never have due to a stable income) to feed their families and cover their bills.

So now more than ever, we are given the freedom to realise our dreams, achieve our goals and make the change we have wanted for so many years, if not decades and it all starts with a first step, a dream, a goal.

Jam and cheese anyone?

Easy Homemade Jam
Whether you are preparing a large or small batch, my Easy Homemade Jam recipe is for you! Three ingredients and no water canning method needed to keep your pantry stocked with jam all year round!

If you use frozen berries instead of fresh berries, the cooking time will be longer. Before the jam starts to become thick, the water content in the frozen berries will need to be cooked off first.

Ingredients
4 cups fruit, roughly chopped
1 whole lemon, juiced
1/2 cup sugar

Instructions
Toss all ingredients in a medium-sized, deep sauce pan and turn the heat to medium until the mixture begins to bubble. Then, reduce the heat to simmer and stir.
Allow mixture to cook and the fruit/berries to naturally break down. Be sure to stir every 20 minutes or so, even more frequently when the jam begins to thicken.
When the jam has reached the consistency you desire, carefully pour hot jam into clean and sterile mason jars.
Being sure the rim of the jar is clean and jam-free, wipe the lid with a damp cloth, place on the seal and tighten the lid until a slight resistance is met.
Carefully place the jar on a kitchen towel where the jar will not be disturbed for twelve hours.
Once the jam begins to cool, the seal will create a popping sound, assuring you that the jar is sealed.
Refrigerate for immediate use or store in a cool dry place for up to six months.

Its a beautiful Monday, why not start your day with this detoxification Dragonfruit smoothie.

Dragon fruit contains prebiotics,magnesium and vitc.

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup orange juice (freshly squeezed, if possible)
1 banana , frozen (R70-00 1KG)
100g frozen dragon fruit (about 1/2 cup) (R75-00 1kg)
1/2 cup frozen blueberries (R65-00 1KG )
1/2-inch piece of fresh ginger (or to taste)
1 large handful fresh baby spinach (optional; this will affect color)

Blend and enjoy.

Declutter - if you don't need it and haven't used/touched it for over 6 months then it needs to find a new home.
