We recently wrapped up the conference, engaging academics, policymakers, the private sector, and indigenous community leaders in discussions about Latin America’s sustainable and inclusive globalization.

In our discussions, we urged participants to consider how Latin America can leverage the revival of industrial policy in developed countries to advance its own regional industrial policy and position its interests in the international economic law agenda. Regional coordination emerged as a key tool for LatAm to maximize the benefits of winning the “critical minerals lottery,” better engage in digital trade discussions, and promote higher labor standards.

Our keynote speaker, Ambassador Lubiske, highlighted the Americas Partnership for Economic Prosperity as a forum where countries in the region sharing common values can advance economic prosperity and integration.

During our final sessions, government officials, private sector representatives, and indigenous leaders discussed better models for economic development in the region. The importance of integrating SMEs and leveraging regional competitive advantages was emphasized. Speakers discussed practical questions such as addressing migration challenges, securing financing, and ensuring regional coordination to materialize an inclusive and sustainable model for Latin America.

We're thrilled to create a space that puts LatAm’s interests at the forefront. Join us in more conversations on how to work together towards !
