Basketball teams are drafted - give coaches some time to reach out please!!! Practice schedules will be provided from the coach. Game schedules can be viewed on the SportsEngine Tourney App

Basketball Registration closed and we have evaluated all players. The draft is tonight, and teams will be selected at that time. Our next registration for spring sports will be in mid January.
Tomorrow is the Last Day to register for BASKETBALL. Evaluations will start on Monday and teams built by Wednesday. IF you need to sign up; you can today or tomorrow at City Hall by calling to get an appt at 640-0323 or we will see you Thursday night at Moody Civic Center from 6pm-8pm.

If you want to register in person before Thursday; call the City Hall Park office at 640-0323 and set up an appointment. There are time slots available to help avoid the wait on Thursday night.
LAST Registration is Thursday Nov 30th @ Moody Civic Center from 6pm - 8pm.
$110 Cash or Check - HOWEVER, you can register at CITY HALL with AN APPOINTMENT ONLY (Monday through Thursday) by calling 640-0323 and getting a time slot. FRIDAY CITY HALL is closed and we immediately go into Evaluations on Monday. Don't miss out and you have plenty of time and opportunities to get registered before Thursday night.

A reminder of our Girls league Basketball program. We offer a Kindergarten League (co-ed) and Boys League; but the past 3 years we have been able to offer a Girls League (non-co-ed) and hope to see all our Girls at the last registration on Nov 30th.

This year don't get left out of coaching, we have a link to register/be considered to coach and we have already received one age group with 10 coaches requesting to coach. I wouldn't miss out; YOU CANNOT sign up to coach at registration you will be given this link to do so. Lastly, there are always requests to play with a family member or transportation or not play with XYZ coach, guess what you will be directed to this link or it will not be documented as a request. Therefore, we make it easy for you, save the hassle and do it online!

Registration starts Thursday in person at the Civic Center. NOW is the time to register to coach and/or get your requests in for player protection and special requests. All requests will be reviewed prior to the draft. DO it online at the link provided below; we WILL NOT take requests on site at registrations. 12 coaches have already volunteered DONT MISS OUT!!!

1st Annual Chad Dorsett Legacy Award Ceremony for Moody Youth Basketball will be held on Feb 11th @ 12pm in Gym R1. All coaches were asked to nominate any player who exemplifies great character, teamwork and leadership on and off the court! We are honored to be able to help carry on Chad Dorsett’s Legacy. All nominees are to be recognized as Finalists and 1 player will be awarded the Award winner.

Exciting News: As mentioned we will use Tourney Machine to track your team(s) schedule, results, and standings. On this app, each grade division for Boys and Girls have a separate tab. Inside each grade division is the whole schedule, place for standings and the bracket for the end of season tourney. We will update scores on game days and nights and you will be able to keep up with every teams success In addition, there is a way to like your team and updates will be sent to your phone as well. I will post some additional info in a separate post on how to use this app.
