Transportation Solutions is a transportation management association (TMA) committed to increasing transportation options, reducing miles driven alone, and creating walkable places.
On Friday, August 30 at the City Park Pavillion, the Denver Regional Mobility and Access Council is hosting a Transit to Wellness Expo, where caregivers can find essential resources and explore accessible transit options to navigate their caregiving roles better! They will have food trucks, face painting, raffles, and more. The event will be family-friendly. The City and County of Denver Government Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI) is studying the East Evans Avenue corridor from S. Colorado Boulevard to S. Quebec Street. DOTI will evaluate walking, bicycling, transit, parking utilization, green infrastructure, access, and right of way to the corridor.

RTD is undertaking a pilot project integrating trip planning across transit services and partners, including Bustang Outrider, Boulder BCycle, the Lone Tree Link, and Lyft Scooters.

The Alameda Corridor project team has developed draft recommendations to improve Alameda Avenue to improve safety, and transit, enhance connections to community destinations, and make Alameda more accessible to all. Last week we hosted Transportation Solution's annual seminar, The Road Ahead! This year, we focused on bus rapid transit (BRT). We want to give a massive thank you to our keynote speaker, Katie Roth, who is the Director of Arterial Bus Rapid Transit at Metro Transit in Minneapolis and presented a look into Minnenapolis's BRT system. Ryan Noles, the BRT Program Manager with the Colorado Department of Transportation also gave a presentation about the future of BRT in Denver. Both presentations blew us away!

Denver is conducting a safety study of East 13th, 14th, 16th, 17th, and 18th Avenues between Broadway and Yosemite Street to identify safety improvements to coincide with the East Colfax Ave Bus Rapid Transit (BRT). This study will analyze crash and traffic speed data and explore who uses the streets. They are looking to have community input to develop recommendations for reducing crashes.
