Came back to drawing on paper a few weeks ago, and I decided to switch techniques. I used to go full watercolor on Canson’s sketching paper in the past but I’m now using indian ink for my blacks on watercolor paper. This allows me to have more control over my shadding for a cleaner result. Hope you can see any improvement since I last draw on paper !

This is my very first time experimenting with Arches paper and FW inks, it ain’t perfect yet, lining with a pigma micron kinda sucked on this paper so I’ll have to find a solution for that. Thankfully it still looks pretty decent imo 😁
