14 days until CHRISTMAS?! Yes, it's come so fast and I don't even know where the time has gone this year. I am already prepping and planning for Christmas and especially planning my healthy treats ๐
Christmas is the time when we all embrace the most of it. Food is a big part of the festive season and whilst it is so difficult to resist the treats, I decided this year I will go a bit more healthy.
Not super paleo-like healthy because these treats still contains chocolate ๐ but it's a better version than a Celebration box!
I want to share my 5 Healthy & Satisfying Christmas Treats with you that I am sure will satisfy your sweet tooth during this festive season ๐
All I want to eat before Christmas is this! ๐คฃ
During these evenings that are getting consistently colder, I want something that would warm my soul! It may not be the prettiest, but fish, mushrooms and sweet potato somehow come into harmony (feeling poetic ๐
).

Every time I tried a certain diet, I always have found myself quitting after a week or so because of the variety of foods, which I have never heard of or were expensive, I needed to include in my shopping list...
I never had motivation to strictly follow it and knew that it would not last forever anyway. I wanted something that makes me feel good, feel not bloated without starving the body.
After some research I found that carb cycling might be the right option for me and few weeks in - I strongly believe that it is! The results were surprisingly satisfying just after a few days!

Carb cycling is super simple. To prove that, I have also included a sample meal plan of low, medium and high carb days for you.

I found something very interesting that you may be surprised with. According to studies monounsaturated fatty acids is like an antidote to belly fat! I thought to myself 'Whoa?'
