The image posted says enough. Stop a moment, think, if you're a wife and your husband died right now, how will you fare? Or the other way around? Can you pay the mortgage on that 300k home? Keep the BMW or Lexus? Feed the kids, afford all their activities, pay ALL the bills?? Also make sure both names are on or at least your spouse acknowledged on property, it's a bitch to change. I still carry a copy of my marriage license, death cert, and DD214, there is always a situation that will require these. What I'm saying is this topic better be discussed with ur spouse right now. More sooner than later we're not in our 20's and invincible anymore. If you dont have life insurance, get it. No matter if its 10k, 20k, or 100k. Get IT! Get it for the debts, the bills, to pay off things early. And as if losing you isn't devastating enough, the last thing your spouse needs to hear from "concerned" individuals is suggestions such as, adopting out the family pets, sell or give away all your/their things and move into a two bdrm 950 sq ft apt at the same cost as the home they're in, to sell their cars, and work a second or third job, etc. The list goes on.

Believe me Ive heard alot of it....down to "why dont you sell ya'lls wedding rings?" Really?! Not that I will ever do that, let alone ever take them off! To even suggest that to someone...shame on you. Let me educate you.....Dont say anything... Please....because you may feel your saying the right thing.... you might not be. I guarantee that youre only going to set off a trigger and cause a breakdown especially when it was a traumatic death. I may punch you...not really. I no longer have a filter, I no longer have fear. Because my worst fear has already happened. Dont let the smiles fool you, you dont know what goes on in my day and how I hope I dont have to disappear into a bathroom stall more than 2 to 3 times a day at work to breakdown or have to sit in my car before work to get my s**t together and be able to find whatever fu***ng "happy" place I still have left before having to meet and greet customers. I am also so happy you still have your spouse, everyday with them is a blessing, just dont tell me that you and your hubby did this and that as the topic of every single conversation. Because well thats just not cool at least not when the loss is new. Not that us widows dont care, it only upsets us that our spouse isnt here to do "this or that" anymore. There is no limit for grieving.....Grieving doesnt ever end, its something that merges into your everyday life and you have to learn to live with it. You dont have to walk on glass, just be a little considerate.
