What a heartwarming story! It certainly put a smile on my face! One…I wanted to “CHER” with you 😍

My Block, My Hood, My City preps for annual ‘Be A Part of the Light' event Along Martin Luther King Drive in Chicago, you’ll see a few candy cane decorations and some ribbon tied to light poles. But come Saturday, the entire street will be lit up with holiday lights.

This is SO bizarre that I HAD to “CHER!” This was a painting, of my mom’s that I had reframed. A man came, this afternoon, to hang it and I was in a different room and I heard him say, “GORJUS!” NOT gorgeous but “GORJUS” with the SAME annunciation my mom used. I walked into the room and asked him what he said and he said it again, “GORJUS” . Tight, then & there, the hair on my arms stood up. I KNEW my mom came through him to let me know he loved the new frame and that she’s with me 24/7! Do you believe in these signs? I certainly do and I wish you could see my smile right now. I’m

Afternoon my love bugs! It seems so important, these days, to teach our young children that the word HATE should NOT exist in their vocabulary. It is often used so lightly and, yet, it’s effect can be so painful and hurtful to another. Imagine, if we All substituted the word LOVE in place of hate. Evening love bugs! I tore my meniscus and have been feeling quite agitated, from the pain, but after the MRI, my sweetheart, Steve, made a surprise stop, picked up Sushi and headed to the beach for a picnic. He never ceases to amaze me. Thank you, my love. It’s just what the doctor ordered.
