Come bring your words to the Issaquah Farmers Market this Saturday from 10am - 2 pm. The Amazing Poetry Machine will be cranking out the poems and the fun! We do need poets to sit "in the booth" for 20 minute shifts. Ah, you know you've wanted to do it! Only two more events for 2012. Message us for details!

Don't forget that this Thursday is The Pondering Pub in the Art Center ArtEAST. Drop in the Art Center at 95 Front Street North in Issaquah anytime between 6-9 pm. The weather for pondering will be perfect and the place will be pub-like. (like the aliteration?) Bring your own projects or start one at The Pub. Words make a difference...Remember sit-ins? Well, we heard about them from our parents, right? A write-in is the new sit-in! Tomorrow night come to ArtEAST Art Center between 6-9pm and see high school students writing to make a difference. You can write too! Write for Somalia is an artistic activist movement created by Michael Abraham and Sherya Tewari to spotlight the devastation of decades of civil war in Somali.
