TCUF recently granted Helping Hands Humane Society $5,000 to help reduce and waive pet adoption fees as the shelter’s animal population reached its highest numbers. We're delighted to share with you some of the pets that found their forever home. 🐶🐱

TCUF is proud to support Capper Foundation with a $1,750 grant to purchase advanced tools and equipment for their therapeutic services programs, such as CASL-2 for language assessments and Hypervibe G10 for physical development.

Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas was awarded a grant of $5,000 to assist poverty-stricken Topeka clients in the Family Financial Transformations program that offers financial literacy and debt mitigation programs.

TCUF is pleased to support Child Care Aware of Eastern Kansas with a $3,500 gift to fully engage in “Math for All Ages,” a class that will be offered at no cost to childcare providers; the knowledge and tools gained from the class will allow daycare providers to incorporate developmentally appropriate activities into their daily childcare routine.

Family Service & Guidance Center was granted $2,750 to provide outdoor therapeutic items, such as outdoor seating, enchanted water fountain, and yard games for their outdoor calming garden - adjacent to the new Youth Crisis & Recovery Center. Their hope is to create a peaceful setting, where clients and therapists can talk, think, and reflect.

TCUF is thrilled to provide Topeka Habitat for Humanity with $5,000 to support their “Aging in Place” holistic home repair program that engages multiple community partners and provides products and services that foster the health and well-being of our aging population.

TCUF is pleased to provide the Topeka Civic Theatre & Academy with a gift of $3,640 to purchase 900 books for the “Read the Book, See the Show” program. For the 2022-2023 season, TCT Theatre for Young Audience (productions: Dragons Love Tacos and Elephant and Piggie: We Are in a Play).
Funds will be used to purchase the corresponding books given to each student. We love what you do for our community, TCT!

Kansas Children's Service League was granted a gift of $3,000 to support their Center for Restorative Education with funds for training staff, classroom support and meals and snacks for hungry students.

Housing and Credit Counseling was awarded a grant of $4,000 to fully engage the “Tame Your Debt Monster” a social media campaign to raise awareness of free counseling at HCCI and help people see how they can budget consistently and establish a personal Next Steps Action Plan to be financially self-sufficient.
Family Service & Guidance Center was granted $2,500 to print 7,500 Happy Bear Activity Books, which is an important part of their Happy Bear Abuse Prevention program. Happy Bear teaches children, ages 3-6, about a subject that is never easy to talk about, physical and sexual abuse.
