Awesome job AVID Sophs! Yesterday we distributed food to over 150 families. We also toured Wright College and learned about dual enrollment and special scholarships.
Congrats to the 1st AVID graduates-all 80-of them. Bright futures ahead with vivid memories of 4 great years! Honored to be their teacher and love them all!
HUGE Thank you to Danny C., Jennifer V., Eunice Z. for their AWESOME presentations to the incoming freshmen. SHOUT OUTS to the AVID JROTC for their help during orientation guiding students and parents to all the right places. You all were great and made me so proud to be your teacher!

Congrats and High Five to Michii for being accepted to Just the Beginning Foundation Summer Legal Institute here in Chicago. She will receive training in pursuing a legal career and even participate in a mock trial in front of a real judge in court. Way to go!
