Today will be the first day for the Self-Protection / Self-Defense class! Class will be from 4:00 to 5:00 every Sunday in Salem! Hope to see you there!

We will have karate class tomorrow.

KARATE USA - Due to the COVID-19 cases rising in the area and some families being on quarantine I have decided to suspend Karate USA classes for the rest of the month of December. We will resume classes January 3, 2021. Everyone enjoy your time off and have a great holiday.

If you haven’t watched Cobra Kai (Karate Kid) on Netflix yet... I highly recommend it!

And remember Karate USA classes start again this Sunday in Salem!!!

Karate USA classes will resume September 6th. Due to Covid19 we will be changing how we do a few things but I know everyone is ready to get back to some normalcy. If you want to wear a mask or want your kids to wear one that is totally fine too. We will have hand sanitizer available and instead of sharing the water fountain I would like for each student to bring their own bottle of water with their name on it.

Classes will be held at Ed Daniels Karate in Salem, IL on Sunday afternoons.
Class times below:
5 - 8 year olds class - 1:00 to 2:00 PM
9 - 15 year olds class - 2:00 to 3:00 PM
16 and up class - 3:00 to 4:00 PM

Private lessons available at the school upon request for Sunday’s only.

Who’s ready do get back to class and training? I’d like to get a head count of who will be coming back if I start classes tomorrow or who would like to wait until September. Please private message me.

Do to the stay at home order by the IL Governor I am suspending Karate USA classes until further notice. Eventually we will all get through this, so stay safe, stay home unless needed to get out as laid out by the government officials. Classes will resume as soon as all of this passes and it will pass eventually. Take care and keep practicing!

Due to events unfolding I have made a decision to cancel my karate classes for the next 2 weeks. There will not be class tomorrow the 15th or the 22nd. See everyone on the 29th... wash your hands and stay healthy!

Some of the kids got sparring gear today and now we get to have some fun!

No class today… I am sick. I’ll see you guys next weekend!

I was surprised and honored to get promoted to 7th degree black belt this weekend. Humbled and thankful to everyone involved and everyone at the training camp this weekend.

Karate classes are half price for this month since we are only having classes for today and next Sunday. See everyone later today.

Remember no class tomorrow or next Sunday. I am on vacation and will be teach at the TOKA Seminar in Gatlinburg TN.

Starting April 7, 2019 we will be moving the location for classes to Ed Daniels Karate School in Salem IL which is located at 5075 US Highway 50 East, Salem, IL 62881. Class days and times will be the same as they are currently. The new location is only 20 minutes from Flora on HWY 50. Also with this new location I will be able to offer private lessons on Sundays as well, either before or after regular class times. Class schedule is below, if you have any questions or concerns please contact me directly and if adjustments need to be made I can address them.



Schedule for Sunday class times:

Age - Class Time – Fee (Can be paid by Credit or Debit card, Check or Cash)

5 - 8 – 1:00PM-1:55PM - $45

9 - 15 – 2:00PM-2:55PM - $45

16 & up – 3:00PM-4:30PM - $50

Private Lessons - $30 – ½ Hour
(If you do three private lessons a month your regular group classes are free)

(If paying cash put in envelope with students name on it so you get credit. If you do not do this I have no idea who paid cash)
