"Walking Home after the Dance" I love making these little practice pages. The backgrounds are built up of a few days of excess paint wiped on a piece of copy paper. Then I will usually "see" something to abstract out of it!
Some days I think I should spend more time at the art table, but when I look at the amount of work I did this month, it looks like I already did!

I started this little collage piece yesterday on my lunch break at work. I had an index card and some "trash" scavenges. So I made the background. this morning I added words and a little gold paint.
"Nightbloomers" the poem is by Charlest Bukowski:
"in my garden
in the sun and in the rain
and in the day and in the night
pain is a flower
pain is flowers
blooming all the time."
