The Good Life was a bit of a s**t show. Some divisions were great and other were awful. That is all on me, so I do apologize for the skill disparity. I should have been more clear with the division guidelines. I will be making it very clear going forward.

I appreciate all of you coming and playing this year. I hope you were able to have some fun this last weekend.

Well, I hope you are all hurting as much as I am. Was a bit of a trainwreck on my part. I wholeheartedly apologize for the skill disparity. I do hope some of you had fun. I will be updating the division guidelines. I will get way more specific for next year.

Wanted to thank you all for coming. Thank all the tournament assistants and officials. Hope you all have a good adult tournament season until the kids take all our ice back.

For my officials who didn't pick up a check, please send me your address and I will mail those out.

We will have 81 games set between 47 teams. The tournament will begin Friday April 26th.

We still have a few openings for referees if you are interested. We are paying $50 per game. Please comment here for that.

When: April 28th-30th, 2023
Where: Moylan Tranquility Iceplex, Motto Mclean Ice Rink, Liberty First Credit Union Arena, and Grover Ice Rink
Cost Per Team: $850.00, (due April 2nd 2023)
Rosters: 15 skaters plus goalie (1 sub skater allowed)
Skill Levels: Novice, Intermediate B, Intermediate A, Elite, Open
Ages: All players must be 18 years old or older

Referees & Score Keepers:
• Refs will be paid $45 per game with USA hockey cert.
• Scorekeepers will be paid $20 per game.

I believe the schedule is complete and posted correctly. I did my best with game times. We actually have a lot of teams from out of town. It was NOT possible to have all out of town teams play later on Friday.

There will be 39 teams total this year, the only odd division has High Novice. Bearded Clams will be the team with 4 games.

All players must sign a waiver in order to play. This tournament is not USA hockey affiliated however, we will be using USA hockey certified referees.

No checking, no fighting and blue line icing. (not redline)

Tie games are allowed on Friday and Saturday. Sunday games will go to shootouts.

Top 4 seeded teams after Saturday games will play in the playoffs on Sunday. We will be letting you know if you are in or not. Remember Head to head is the first tie breaker.

Omaha Metro Classic Hockey League Summer 2022 Season registration is now open!

The season will run from the first weekend in June to the end of September. Games will be played at Moylan Iceplex on Sundays. They maybe some Saturday game if the schedule needs to be adjusted. Top 2 seeded teams in each division will go to a championship game. There will be a beginner training program for those interested in getting on ice hockey instruction and drills.
Costs this summer season will be the same as last summer. Signup today!
