14 years ago today our world stopped spinning. We got the call all parents dread. 14 years since I heard your laughter, felt your hug or saw your gorgeous eyes. 14 years. People ask if the pain is easier? No! Do I miss you just as much today as I did 14 years ago? Yes.
My mother's arms ache to hold you.
But my hope, the promise is that I will. Not today nor maybe not tomorrow but when my time here on earth is done, I will hold you in my arms again in Heaven.
How do I know that? Because I was there when you asked Jesus into your heart and because of that I will be with you again.
I love and miss you so much my sweet precious boy but know you are living your best life just at a different address, Heaven.
Please lift my family up today as they all go through the memories and ache of that day. Pray for all the families that say goodbye here on earth. But also know that our hope lies in Jesus. There is more than this. There is eternity. Do you know my Jesus?

Our current freezer has bit the dust. We are desperately needing another freezer. With the high price of food and having so many people needing food we really don't have the money to purchase a new one. Anyone have a gentle used they would like to donate or that doesn't cost that much?

As you know we do not take any government funding and only do 2 fund raisers a year. The need this year has been tremendous. So if you are out shopping and come across a good deal think about buying a little extra and donating to Jacob's Cupboard.
What do we need? Everything.
