Hide and Seek Home

Three friends from the wild bush country of Botswana, Africa, are masters of camouflage – invisible you and me – and love to play hide and seek.

When danger comes, their favorite game becomes their best way home. Barbara McLaughlin was inspired to write Hide and Seek Home by travels to remote areas and respect for the skills and intelligence of the wild animals encountered there. It was a privilege to be a guest in their world. This story is written and illustrated with the hope that children will understand and value the lives of animals in the wild and appreciate what a precious part of our planet they are.
