We really don't want to stop talking about our virtual summit of Kilimanjaro with Power To Be but it would seem it's time to give you our final update!

Well, our team climbed 5895 metres in just over 20 hours, raised 4.5 thousand dollars and actually WON the TELUS social media challenge!! Our very own Kristine Johnston came in fifth overall for personal donations (with a cool 1,700$) and the total funds raised was a staggering 191 THOUSAND dollars. Wow. We are blown away... you?

The icing on the cake for our team was the time we got to spend together, everything else aside this was an amazing experience to share with our colleagues. We had to depend, lean on and trust one another. We learnt each others limits, short comings and strengths (optimal snack packing is absolutely a strength) and played to them accordingly.

We can't wait for next year. Thank you for all your support and words of encouragement. Every share, comment and like made a difference.

Well it's official... the virtual Kilimanjaro Power To Be climb has come to a close! Eva brought it home for team Maximizer by completing 760 metre via local trails and crushing some repetitive hill climbs!!

Not only did she close the virtual gap for us but she also KEPT GOING in order to meet the personal commitments she made to her donors. Now thats what we like to see - Proud of you Eva. Way to use your !

We will be sharing our final updates with you over the week.. turns out we won a neat prize and we've got BIG plans for it!!

Wow wow super speedy Nick rocked it 830 metres up St Marks summit all the way in Vancouver Canada this morning AND THEN crushed 1200m on the treadmill bringing his elevation to 2300 metres! Power To Be you’ve got our team working for it today!!

We are one day out from our virtual climb day up Kilimanjaro with Power To Be so we need to introduce you to our final climber Kristine Johnston !

Kristine is originally from but has made the UK her home for the past seven years and makes magic happen over in our offices as our Senior Executive!

She’s an avid adventurer and outdoors enthusiast who’s so looking forward to taking on this challenge and pushing her limits! Like most of us, the outdoors holds a special place for Kristine (and Boris, her rescue pup) and play an important role in her mental health and happiness. She believes and should have access to these transformative and life changing experiences.

She will be climbing Snowdon in Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri - Snowdonia National Park next weekend to make up her elevation! Being outdoors is a big part of her life and she's really excited to get involved with the Power To Be initivie because she really believes .

Our team will be summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro with a wonderful charity called Power To Be to help people living with disabilities or barriers access nature!! As a local BC based company built up of folks who love the great outdoors we believe everyone deserves to experience nature and couldn’t think of a better initiate to get involved with!

We will have 72 hours to virtually climb 5895 metres along side 40 other teams and we. can’t. wait. We promise to take you on this adventure with us and keep you up to date on how we do!
