This will be a somewhat intimate group of around 10 participants and we will process the journey of art making together. We will explore our artistic selves and find our own unique voice through short exercises that open up creativity and inspire you to use household materials in new ways.

Each week we will read a chapter of the book and do the corresponding art prompt. Once you've signed up, a copy of the book will be sent to you. In the session, you will have the opportunity to complete the assignment/prompt and the second hour we will focus on debriefing as a group.

Art Therapy Studio Chicago is so excited to announce we are teaming up with Anna Celander LCPC, ATR to bring a virtual visual journaling group to you!

Starting Sunday, April 19th each session will run for 2 hours starting at 12pm, Groups will meet: 4/19/20, 4/26/20, 5/3/20, 5/10/20.

Each week, participants will be given a prompt, and instructions for using collage imagery and mixed media materials to embellish and develop your own visual journal.
