I gradually embraced that fear, put in the work in the past one year whilst holding on to their words;
“Basirah you are very good at this”
“Basirah, I trust your judgement. Just make the dresses”
“Tosin you just need to try again” I would give them a thousand and one reasons why all their suggestions would not work.
Did they stop? Nope!
“Basirah let’s try another business model”
“Tosin I have registered for the exams, you have to write it in one week, I know you can do it”
“Basirah, have you signed up for those courses?”
“Tosin you have to go back to taking your French classes, you can write the exams in a month” (I didn’t write the exams but those words helped me get to intermediate level in 3 months after struggling with beginner’s class for a little over 10 years(on and off)
“Basirah, I am proud of you, you have really improved” with excitement after hearing me speak in a virtual class. I didn’t realize that I had improved.(To be continued)
In summary, the past one year has been about GROWTH, STABILITY, GRACE and SELF DISCOVERY because I had the most amazing people around me.

It’s A New Year!!! It’s 11 days into it already but we didn’t want to miss out on posting for the New Year.
We want to thank all our customers and prospective customers for being loyal to the brand all through last year even though we didn’t post pictures of our designs, we were working. Happy New Year.
