I love when an order fits in a box oh so perfectly.

Big batch of bursts shipping out today. I make these designs using small billy balls nestled in four larger leaves and finish them off with a few leaves down the stem. I love the look of a bunch in a vase.

Purple or Pink? Left or Right? This or That? Or Both?! Debating which wreath design and color palette I should run with for a new Etsy listing. Decisions, decisions, decisions!

Operation iPhoto cleanup is in full force over here. I have WAY too many photos and too many photos of a slight variation of same picture. So when your stuck in the rocker with a sleeping baby snuggled up on you I suppose it’s the best time to clean up those photos. The bonus? You get to find some old gems like this one of one of my original flowers. Was and will always be one of my favs 💛🌻

Took a little break the last two months to welcome baby Ansel to the family. Pulled out my blue felt to create a welcome bouquet for the new guy 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💙

I create all my flower designs from scratch with a lot of trial and error. Once I’m happy with the design I create custom dies for my Sizzix machine in AutoCAD and order them from . My custom tulip die arrived the other day and I’m super excited and pleased with the results. Such a good feeling to see the results of your hard work.

I ran out of stems and am not so patiently waiting on the delivery of more, so I turned my hands back towards sign making. I made this guy to hang on our front door to welcome spring.

Don’t you love that feeling when you cross off the one thing you never do on your to-do list? Today I embraced those feels when I finally updated the photos on my lilac listing to match the aesthetic of my other listings. Mission Accomplished.

Seems like every time I go to Joann Fabrics or Michael’s (a lot) I come home with either wreath or wood sign base. My purchases were starting to collect dust so today I finally made something out of nothing. Oh the feelings of accomplishment 😊. Now to work through my stack and create more designs.

Started organizing my photo library today (this project = daunting task) and came across this picture from a fall wedding I did last year. These were short stemmed large flower buds that were used for table decor. Cute little guys!

I found some time to this week to resume my Etsy shop housekeeping project of updating the flower board photos for my build a bouquet listing. Can you name all the flowers?

I am continually impressed with my customer’s skills to build a bouquet by the stem. This combination turned out lovely! When I’m making arrangements sometimes I end up making flowers in multiple colors before I see the one that fits best in the bouquet. Not the most efficient methods but it gets the job done🙈

Today I wrapped up a Build A Bouquet order that screams Valentine’s Day. Roses in shades of pink surrounded by lots of flower pointed and rounded flower buds.

My recent custom orders are channeling winter colors and I’m liking it! This bouquet is made up of mostly greenery with a single protea holding down the fort. Mulberry brings in that pop of color that we all benefit from this time of year, especially in cold, snowy, dark Chicago

I was getting tired of working with the same felt colors so I ordered some new palettes from and made some in winter colors. I like a big bunch displayed in a vase but a few can also look good popping out the top of a bouquet for texture and height.
