So we’ve all heard a little about fentanyl, but it’s especially scary how it can affect our kids. I found this short video - seriously, it’s only 4 minutes - that’s perfect to watch with your family. It’s straight-to-the-point and gives you stuff to talk about. A few minutes could make a big difference. Let’s watch it with our families tonight and tell me about the conversations you have afterward.

Did you know that being able to spot an overdose and use Narcan could literally save someone’s life? With fentanyl out there, learning how to recognize and respond to an overdose is super important. I just watched a
quick video – it only takes five minutes. Let’s be ready to help when it counts.

We are officially certified to do SBIRT screenings✨✨
SBIRT asks a series of screening questions to determine level of risk. If you are abstaining from using substances, you'll recieve positive reinforcement and education on the risks of substance use. If you display a mid- to high-risk profile, you'll be given a brief intervention, ranging from a motivational conversation to a multi-day workshop. Finally, if you display a severe abuse problem, you will be referred to an addiction treatment provider.
If you or anyone you know could benefit by being screened please contact Anna Vidales at 77-273-2402 or stop by the Depot at 1005 W. Broadway Ave.
