Tonight we have our general knowledge quiz on, win a gallon of beer and keep your ticket for a chance to win cash in our higher/lower card game. Free sarnies for anyone in the pub hope you like ham and/or egg mayo.
Tomorrow is the launch of our new menu and at night Steve and Steve will be hosting our famous Open Mic Session which will be brilliant as usual.
We all had a great Bank Holiday at The Lion yesterday,Sabrina's face painting was excellent and Denise and Josh's BBQ was huge success, The Last Pedestrians, Royston Duxford and Afrosounds(who played 3 stormin sets!!!) played brilliantly and the customers showed tremendous support. So a big thank you to everyone that helped and contributed in aid of Hayward House Cancer Care Trust.
Rain didn't stop play yesterday and 'the score' played an amazing couple of sets to a full house. Today's jazz went down storm as usual and now we await the brilliant 'last pedestrians'. Still time to enjoy your bank holiday sunday here at the lion.
