The portraiture was done for a tarot deck that has been in tiny limited release since its inception, but now I am contemplating turning lose on the world, because I'm still in love with it. My painting is a newer endeavor, from deep....

I'll be selling prints of my art soon. I'm planning a show of the originals.
After the show, some originals will be put up for sale.

Drawing now matted and framed. It's such a wonderful thing to see art I made in a frame where I also decorated the matte.

Started four new paintings

This is it. This time I'm doing colored pencils.

Just spent an hour watching a wonderful video from Max Dashu on Women in Greek Mythography. Content that feeds the mind and spirit and makes the heart soar. Buying the books too. I already have the Deasophy coloring book. Still untouched since it managed to hide from me until I remodeled the temple room.

She's done. I can't wait to get the canvas mounted properly.

Letting the second phase dry right now. I love watching this take shape and finding out who is there.

Beginning a new piece. I've laid the center down with acrylic pens. Once they dry. I'm going to use a technique I discovered by accident while working on another piece that isn't quite finished. I'm relishing doing big strokes and eschewing the precision I've used in other work. Being instinctive instead of analytical. Letting Slothwoman run free. Letting myself speak her language.
