Congratulations are way over due for ! After 118 days of striking, they have signed a tentative 3 year deal with the AMPTP and are allowed to get back to work as of 12:01 am today. To those who struck, please know we appreciate all the work you do and deserve the world for your art and skill.

The Underground honors the life and memory of Paul Ruebens, best known for his role as P*e Wee Herman. Reubens died Sunday night after a private bout of cancer. He was 70.⁠

Well, it’s official. SAG-AFTRA is joining the WGA strike after months of no response from the major studios. It has also been reported the studios are essentially waiting for the writers to lose their essential needs such as food and housing to ensure they will come back and work for peanuts.

We’ll definitely be covering this on next week’s episode to bring you up to speed.

The Underground honors the life and legend, Miss Tina Turner. The 12x Grammy winner and 2x Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee passed today at the age of 83.

The 32nd annual Orlando Fringe Festival kicked off this past weekend and it was a blast. Food, fun, art and live theatre are all here and ready for you to experience until May 29th. If you’re a newcomer to the area, this is definitely an local event you don’t wanna miss.

And speaking of not to miss, The Underground kicked off our Fringe season by seeing “The City Beautiful”, a live band burlesque musical.

Directed by Risa Risqué and , the couple behind Cheesy Pizza Productions, this show takes the unforgettable original music by Justin Scarlat and lyrics by Risa Risqué to show the good, bad, morbid and hilarious history of Orlando. From learning about the three Henrys and Gertrude’s Walk to the birth of Disney and the first Black business in the city, this show will have you proud to live in Orlando 🧡🧡🧡

MegaCon Day Three, technically day four and the last day of the con, was amazing!!!

This day we saw cosplay that you normally never see in the wild and that made us even more excited! If you know who they are, let us know in the comments and we’ll tag them!

The last day was a little calm compared to Saturday, but still a bit busy. Two plus hour waits for celebrity photos and autographs and lack of communication from staff were still issues on the last day as we waited for a celebrity photo. Ugh! The disorganization was real.

Again, if you decide to see a celebrity, schedule accordingly and be prepared to wait most of your day in line to meet them. YIKES!! Sound off in the comments on suggestions on what can be done better for next year and we’ll talk about it on this week’s episode.

MegaCon Day Two was even more fun that the first. Technically this was third day of the con. We skipped Friday. Oops! 🤣🤣🤣

The first day was a little busy, but Saturday was butts to guts and balls to the walls!
