Faceted Quartz. Self sourced, self cut - first complete stone since brief faceting lesson many years ago (thanks to Hervey Bay Gem Club)! Very proud of myself, now what to do with it!

These are a sample of some of the items I currently have in stock. I fossick for about 80% of the stones I use, I cut 95% of the stones used. All are set in lead free Pewter.

After a little hiatus, some new pieces coming! Stand by!

A couple of new pieces to add to the market at Scarness tomorrow!
The first photo is "Love", "Peace", "Hope" and "Faith.
The second is something for the boys!
The third, lapis set in pewter and "Carpe Diem"
The final two photos are of braided leather with pewter tag.

Unfortunately the Scarness markets were just too wet and we have packed up early. Will be at Seafront Oval on Saturday 13th Sept for a great cause, weather permitting! Come down and check it all out.

Just a sample of a few of the pieces I have left - necklaces and bracelets included here. Unfortunately I have no Chrysophrase ones left, as they have sold out. Will have to go on another fossicking trip up north for some more! Come down this Sunday (Father's day) to Scarness park and check out my wider range, plus all the other great stalls and music in the park.

Scarness Events

Last weekend the weather was against holding the 2nd part of the Arts Councils music festival as the park was very wet and damage would have been done. SO..... fingers crossed this weekend for a better day or no rain during the week and lets try round 2 ! Full day of music from 9 am, stall holders with great gift ideas, support the local businesses and hope to see you there.

Long weekend projects, all ready for the Market this Sunday at Scarness. Some new hair pins for those who are young at heart - just a bit of fun!

Great day at The Music and Arts festival yesterday at Scarness. Come down again for more on the 15th June. Here is a new pendant displayed and a couple of earrings that are still left. The earrrings as my profile piccy have sold, but can make another set on request.

A little bit of fun this weekend- a few more hair barrettes ( and a cute little owl one for those owl lovers). Also a prototype for a bangle/cuff - I think a more detailed design is required.

Two new hair barrettes done. These are large ones - 8.5cm long.

Great day at Scarness' Sunday in the park - some great music and stalls. Met some great people- best of luck to the lovely couple in the new venture quilting business (who bought one of my rings). Another month now till the next market - got to get busy!

Weather/ 'cyclone' permitting, I will be at Scarness markets this Sunday. Come down and check out my bits and pieces!

Just a reminder, 95% of my stones are dug out of the ground generally through NSW and QLD by myself and my family. I cut 100% of my stones and use Pewter to set them, and either silver plated/ surgical steel or stainless steel fixings. Nothing is dyed, all natural stones. Currently the only imported stone I use is Lapis Lazuli (I buy raw and cut myself).

Post Australia Day festivities at Scarness. Flaming Sands bellydancing and Pewter & Stone stall. Due to 40+ km/hr winds no roof could be put onto our gazebo and spent the whole day in the sun - hence the great 'google' look. Anyway, had heaps of fun, meets heaps of crazy Australians and visiting temporary Australians. These are a couple of the earrings left - one of my personal favourites the garnet ( if this doesn't sell, it's going into my personal collection!) LOL.

New earring studs (and thanks again to my kind 'studly' model - "never again mum, this is the last time). This is just a selection of the first lot done. Chyrsoprase, Black Tourmaline, Lapis Lazuli, Red/ orange agate and a mystery yellow stone. I have other plain stone or stone set in solid pewter. Surgical steel pin/ backing. $12 set.
