With all of the new trail gear that we have released we wanted to throw it back to a classic for those that don’t need all the amenities…

Our switchback tarp is perfect for a night under the stars on the side of a mountain somewhere. We have many different shelters and tipis but sometimes a good ole tarp is just what the adventure ordered!

We were able to find and harvest two great bulls utilizing layers and got to put some of our favorite gear to work.

To prove the effectiveness of the focal area layers I spent about 1 hour E-scouting only to figure out my access points and routes to get to the area. I had never been to this zone, hunted it for 7 days and had bulls within bow range every day. The elk pins located in and near the focal area(red polygon) speak for themselves. It’s never been easier to find spots to get you in the game, check them out on the website via the link in my profile.

Been putting the Madison Pop Up teepee to work this elk season. Haven’t been able to find a large enough flat spot to extend to full capacity yet but that’s typical in elk country. Pitched at this configuration there’s plenty of room for two with gear. Highly recommend checking their shelters out!

I’ll be heading back to Utah this year, this time to help my hunting partner who graciously helped me get this bull on the same hunt in 2020. So pumped for him!
