FOR ADOPTION: Phew I made it! I was one of the “lucky” ones that didn’t spend most of my life being overbred. I’m almost two so I still have that puppy innocence and thankfully not overly scarred. However I enjoy quiet surroundings. Busy places makes me uneasy and I’m not used to it. Maybe over time but having a quiet home right now will help me continue to settle.
I’m pretty popular with anyone that meets me. I’m a Golden after all. I’m pure, sweet and lovely. I love human attention so please brush or pet me as much as you’d like! Having someone home most of the time is ideal as when I’m on my own I miss you terribly. So, can we work on that together?
Right now I’m enjoying my foster family’s large property to run around and get some exercise as a leash is still new to me so I get confused when it’s on and I’m suppose to go potty? You see this is why I need you to show me with time and guidance that this is all normal dog stuff.
You see, I haven’t been allowed to be a dog since I was born. I was an employee, and I was bred for my babies over and over again. In fact, TEAM has welcomed not 1, not 2, but 3 Golden girls who look like me.
