Poets & Writers series at Westchester Community College
Dress You Up is a collection of twelve diverse stories that speak to the multiple ways fashion is more than just the clothes we wear. The writers will read from their respective stories, followed by a discussion with the editor, Brian Centrone, about how their stories help us understand the ways fashion can shape who we are or who we want to be. This fully illustrated anthology highlights how the clothing and accessories we wear or covet often reflect past memories, present challenges, or future hopes and dreams. The stories focus on diverse themes such as trauma and healing, perception and identity, love and loss, hopes and dreams. Thursday, November 18, 2021, at 7 PM EST. Online via Zoom.
*Scheduled to appear: Susan Carey, Cheney Luttich, Gabriella Brand, P. J. Schaefer, Larissa Hikel.

Iāve been working steadily on my second novel for some time now. Iām up to 62,000 words. My aim for the summer is to get to the end of act one, which I am close to. Iāve always known this was going to be an epic novel. It has three acts, each will probably be novel length in their own rite. Effectively I am writing the equivalent of three books. I know some of you have been asking when the second novel is coming out. Now you know why itās taking so long!
