Tracey is a certified Fitness Instructor Specialist, certified by Canfit Pro, and certified R.E.D. Warrior Instructor. Tracey is also licensed in Zumba®, Zumba® Toning™, Zumba® Gold Toning™, Zumba® Gold, Zumba® Sentao, Zumba® Kids and Kids Jr and Zumba® Step. She holds certification in Standard First Aid and CPR-C.
March 23 was my 9th anniversary as a Zumba instructor. I forgot until I got an email from Zumba about it. Then I celebrated by canceling my license on the 24.
It was time, long past actually since I haven’t taught a live class since March 12, 2020. I considered jumping online for classes, but dancing on the carpet in my house only aggravated my knee injury from 2019. By this time last year, I could barely make it down the stairs in my house. Thankfully, I was encouraged to seek more help and went to a new sports med doc in Canmore. I found a new physiotherapist and my knee is so much better now. But still, I think it needs more time and I’m hesitant to get back into the world. Even if someone came begging me to instruct a class this second, I’m not sure I would do it. I guess I wouldn’t because I’m not licensed…
Anyway, I loved being an instructor with all of my heart. Dancing is something I’ve loved my whole life and I miss it. I miss you all and thank you for the wonderful dances and memories through the years.

You only need to fill them out ONCE per year, NOT every class.
Fill them in and send me the completed PAR-Q+. I’ll send you links to online classes as they are available.
