Healing and wholeness for the spirit, mind and body. Intuitive energy work, embodiment coaching, PT.
All through your life, the most precious experiences seem to vanish. Transience turns everything to air. You look behind and see no sign even of a yesterday that was so intense. Yet in truth, nothing ever disappears, nothing is lost. Everything that happens to us in the world passes into us. It all becomes part of the inner temple of the soul and it can never be lost. This is the art of the soul: to harvest your deeper life from all the seasons of your experience. This is probably why the soul never surfaces fully. The intimacy and tenderness of its light would blind us. We continue in our days to wander between the shadowing and the brightening, while all the time a more subtle brightness sustains us. If we could but realize the sureness around us, we would be much more courageous in our lives. The frames of anxiety that keep us caged would dissolve. We would live the life we love and in that way, day by day, free our future from the weight of regret.
JOHN O’DONOHUE
Excerpt from his book, Beauty: The Invisible Embrace
This was my last day 2 weeks ago. From January through April I had the privilege and pleasure of being with the DPT class of 2025. 150 hours teaching orthopedic PT treatment.
When I was asked to take this on initially my logical, rational brain said, “Nope. You don’t do conventional PT, why would you teach it.” Thankfully, through the last decade, I’ve cultivated the relationship with my intuitive, imaginal mind. Which gave me a giant geyser of a yes.
So I followed that yes, knowing that sometimes, trust.
And that is my takeaway from being with these inspiring, bright, funny, curious and kind 20 something’s for the past 4 months. TRUST.
I told them to trust what they know for their final exam and on their clinicals. And to trust that they won’t know everything and that’s ok too. To cultivate trust in their hands. To trust in each patients process. And to trust in what they’ve “learned” and what they just “know”.
So for today this message. For me and maybe for you too - trust the universe, trust the process, trust the timing, trust life.
Some thoughts after a week of endings.
Embodiment isn’t about having a body. It’s about being a body.
Your body isn’t something separate from you. You are not something separate from your body.
The fact that you have a body - with its needs and aches and shapes - doesn’t make you less spiritual. The fact that you are infinitely more than your physicality doesn’t make you less human.
You are humanly AND heavenly. What else would the divine be living in?!
Wisdom from during Realization Process meditation training this week…
“This is not a panacea that erases all of our pain, it’s not. But it does allow us to pass through worry and anger and so forth more quickly, not grab onto it. And also little by little to let go of the childhood amplification of whatever our responses are in the present moment.
If we have a loss, of course we mourn that loss, but it’s not amplified by every loss we’ve ever had. If we get angry at someone that we love, it’s not amplified by every time we’ve been angry since childhood. So the childhood roots can be more easily revealed when we embody ourselves. And so that extra wallop of a response begins to dwindle out. But our present day responses are still as keen. Even clearer.
Everywhere we’re in contact with ourselves, we’re conscious there. Contact and consciousness are synonymous. We know ourselves as consciousness. And that’s what embodiment is. It’s not a connecting to our physical body, it’s connecting to ourselves throughout our whole body as consciousness.”
“Know all the theories, master all the techniques, but as you touch a human soul be just another human soul.”
And, “Be your own BFF”.

“The poem is not the world. It isn’t even the first page of the world.
But the poem wants to flower, like a flower. It knows that much.
It wants to open itself, like the door to a little temple, so that you might step inside and be cooled and refreshed, and less yourself than part of everything.”

"The doors to the world of the wild Self are few but precious. If you have a deep scar, that is a door. If you have an old, old story, that is a door. If you love the sky and the water so much you almost cannot bear it, that is a door. If you yearn for a deeper life, a full life, a sane life, that is a door." - Clarissa Pinkola Estés, Women Who Run With the Wolves
Close up of “Maya” by showing at my office through January.
I have the great honor of hosting these gorgeous pieces in my office (or until they find their home) painted by the talented and magical

During the workshop on Sunday we’ll use essential oils to help evoke a state of being.
Cedarwood to connect us to the stability of our center. Lavender to peacefully return us to the ground within. Sandalwood to remind us of the sacredness of being the universe, embodied.

I’m so excited to be leading a Sunday morning meditation at the shop this month! The intention behind the workshop is to reclaim wholeness in all layers of your being and to hear the hidden messages from within. To help heal the wound of separation. Separation within ourselves, separation from nature, separation from each-other, separation of mystery and science, separation from the consciousness we all arise from.
Message me to sign up here or follow the link in my bio. ❤️🙏✨
Grounding.
talks about grounding as both down (into the Earth) AND in (to the body). talks about the grounding qualities of the first chakra which supports the soul in being and staying home in your body. I’ve heard Dick Schwartz, founder of talk about the Self as ground, and that when our parts unblend from Self, we enter a grounded state without effort.
Judith Blackstone, founder of the says, “When we realize ourselves as fundamental consciousness, we uncover a subtle, undivided dimension of consciousness. A basic undivided ground of our own individual being. We have self possession and separateness, and oneness at the same time. Fundamental consciousness is unbreakable. It is deeper than all of our psychological wounding."
Class is tomorrow from 11:30-12:30. We’ll explore grounding in physically, energetically and more.
Continuing my transformative social media sabbatical over here. Listening more. Experiencing more. Being, more.
I’m on here today to share two exciting offerings starting this month! Today we resume monthly Embodied Meditation at Woods Branch, 6:30-7:30. This is free and will be held the second Wednesday of every month. This month I’ll be sharing some readings from for inspiration.
Starting next week, I’ll be teaching a 4 week workshop for grounding and the feet at our space in . It’s through our feet that we meet the earth below us. It’s our feet that are a foundation for the upright way of being and moving in the world. And it’s our feet that are often the last to reconnect to the flow of life though our bodies when we have stress, pain or trauma. Through movement and contemplation, I hope to guide you in recovering your internal continuity that has always been there. Message or email me if you’d like to join or have any questions.
I’m looking forward to these offerings. I hope to see you there. ❤️❤️❤️
This showed up on my Facebook memories today. 5 years ago I shared this post from the amazing of an passage.
It was a little before this post that I remember waking up to this deep sadness. Of trying to fit into everyone else's idea of who and how to be. But the thought of actually just living as myself felt scary - like I'd lose friends, be outcast, end up alone.
Looking back now - the less I've changed, acted, looked, said, or thought in any other way than what I authentically feel, from the depth of myself, the more worthy, loved and accepted I feel.
The more I live my own flavor of weirdness, the less alone I am.
Sometimes I feel we need this message again and again, so we remember we can belong to ourselves. And that it's a beautiful way to be.
"At some point, I have to stop looking for places of belonging and become a place of belonging." - Frances Weller
What I’ve taken with me from 5 days in the woods of Woodstock on meditation retreat with the realization process and my teacher Judith Blackstone -
• trauma is anything we couldn’t fully experience and it lives in our bodies as the adaptations we had to make to survive in the world
• the realization process practices help us reclaim the instrument of our experience ie the body
• our vitality echoes from the wholeness and continuity of our internal circuitry
• we only have to be “whole enough” to begin to realize ourself as the pervasive space of fundamental consciousness ie you don’t have to be anywhere other than wherever you are to start
• we need to feel all our emotions - love and power, bliss and anger - they are all a part of the palette of our life
• we’re not so much resolving relationships as we are freeing ourselves from how we organized ourselves around them
• Healing takes humility to admit I’m broken, courage to look at the pieces, and a deep down feeling that I can, want to and have a choice to change.
“Our essential sense of self cannot be harmed or in any way affected by inner or outer stimuli. It is always unbroken and unchanging. This essence of ourselves has “never moved from the beginning”. It is always within our reach.” - Judith Blackstone
I read a gardening article this weekend about tending your soil now that it's spring. And although it was written for the soil outside, the words seemed to lend wisdom to how we can also nurture the soil within.
The article suggested you start by taking a sample. This will tell you specifically what your soil needs. And if you aren’t able to figure it out on your own, seek help from a “landscape professional”. Once you know the state of your soil, you can begin restoring it. It reminded the reader that soil is a dynamic world, “layer upon layer of decomposing organic matter, microorganisms, minerals, water, air… maybe even last year's buried treasure.”
And if caring for your soil has been an after-thought, it’s never too late.
The article began with these beautiful words that seem to parallel how we live in our bodies too. May you have the capacity, support and time to tend to the soil of your life.
“It hasn’t always been good soil. I pushed seedlings into the ground without any consideration of what the roots would find beneath, whether the soil was exhausted or depleted or too packed with clay to support new life. I didn’t know the value of compost or restoring or resting; I didn’t see the worth in that level of care for what was beneath the surface.
So our first harvest wasn’t a harvest at all. Pale leaves, stunted fruit, fallen blossoms. I stood over the fragile garden and understood.
I went back to the drawing board. We dug in.
We began restoring what had been lost - opening up the ground with shovels and mulch, water and air and organics. We started to see the cycle of how everything on top of the soil will grow, bloom, finish - then settle and sink back into the earth to become something new. And how the return to the soil becomes an offering to what comes next. As is a legacy - of all that has been and is and will be.”

I’m honored to announce that one of my mentors, Roseanne Farano, is coming to Fairfield, CT on Sunday, March 26th to offer a talk/gathering/satsang event! Roseanne is a psychologist, author, former Dean at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing, and the list can go on ❤️. It’s free and open to all beings on this human journey.
I’ve had the privilege of being mentored by Roseanne the past year and a half. I once read of Roseanne that she helps us “to encounter the powerful aria of our own heart” and I can’t think of better words. When we talk each month we laugh, we cry and we companion each other in our exploration of life.
If you’re local I hope you join us and bring a friend. There will be chocolate 😉❤️✨ Feel free to message me if you have any questions.
My cousin and I have done a little collaboration we named Embodied Voice! It’s a 4 part series, meant to be done over 4 weeks, or really whatever feels best for you.
Veronika is a singer/songwriter, who also happens to be a fellow sensitive soul (hands up for the sensey's!!). In addition to singing and performing herself, she also teaches voice lessons. Check her account for that. Over the past few years we've given each other sessions and we found this thread between our work. The more I practiced vocalizing with Veronika, the more full and resonant I felt in my body. And the more Veronika experienced meditation and inquiry work, the more full and resonant she felt in her voice. And so, Embodied Voice was born!
Below is a youtube link where you'll find short and easy vocal warm-ups for weeks 1 and 2. For week 3, I’ll lead us through an embodiment meditation to experience ourselves and our quality of voice.
You don't have to be a singer to participate, just someone who wants to feel more of themselves. There are a few reflection questions for each week's practice to deepen your experience. We'd love to hear from you so post a comment on youtube and let us know your experience. It's been fun working together on this and we hope you enjoy it!
I’ve been enrolled in a Mystery School since September. What is a mystery school? This one with is all about becoming intimate with the mysteries of life. To live into and have direct experiences with the sacred questions. Remembering we are nature. What is soul, how do we experience the sacred feminine, what can we hear and learn from the waters, the rocks, the trees, etc?
December was the mystery of the Rose and this picture is my alter. An alter to cultivate an altered space where I can commune with and be in devotion to myself and these mysteries.
The mystery of the Rose has been for me about connecting to the divine feminine, the Goddess energy, in all her manifestations. It’s been something that’s been up for me for the past year but really amplified with this module. Realizing that most of what we’ve read and been taught has been written by men, for men, about men. I say this not to discount the masculine - we each also have within us a sacred masculine energy that we need to be whole. But can you imagine how our perspectives would alter if we equally heard myths, legends, stories written by women, for women, about women? The same could be said for all the marginalized voices.
It feels like this time is a time for remembering, a re-membering of the feminine. To place value and import on feeling all of life, not just knowing about it. Check out if you’re interested in hearing more about feminine spirituality. I’ll be over hear feeling my axes shifting. Sending love to you all. ❤️❤️❤️
Re-sharing from my story yesterday because really this whole page should be read by us all. Both for repairing our own childhood and for those of us in the role as parents now.
If you weren’t given the message that precisely the you that you are, is loved-welcomed-wanted, can the you that you are now give that to the you that you were then? Can we see what in us is unresolved when it feels hard to offer that to our own children when they “misbehave”? And perhaps what in them is being “acted out” through this behavior.
It’s not an easy task. Or a quick one. It’s a life long unfolding. A journey of encountering all that is between us and knowing that we are each loved, welcomed and wanted just as we are. A remembering and re-membering of ourselves.
And a big shout out to the coolest nerdy book club I’ve been a part of. 😍

Friday musings. What do you do with your life force in order to avoid - seeing, feeling, being - yourself?
Feel right now, what happens in you when you read that question? Does a part of you lift up? Go out? Clench? Recoil?
Can you remember other times when you’ve felt this movement happen in your energy?
See if you can stay in your body as you experience seeing, feeling and being yourself. Even if just for a fleeting few breaths. As long as you feel safe enough to. What might you find to be witnessed?
“The unfinished business of the heart shows itself quite quickly.” - Jack Kornfield
During our monthly call, the wise elder woman I’m so fortunate to spend time with each month spoke about happiness. The words brought tears to my eyes, which is often a sign of deep truth for me. They felt like words to be shared.
“There are no happy endings. Only happy now-ings. Happy can only be now, it can never be later. Happy is always, just like now is always. Happiness is a state of being, not something you get at the end of the story.”
❤️❤️❤️
“Our intuition speaks to us through our body senses.”
What is? Right now, for you?
What is, physically?
What is, emotionally?
What is, energetically, for you right now?
Let your body tell you. Let go of what you think should or might be present and just notice what is. This is a place of beginnings. ❤️❤️❤️
New season, new space.✨
The wise ones remind us it takes as long as it takes. So here I am, officially open for business, in a way and timeline I couldn’t have predicted.
Being a physical therapist will always be foundational for me. AND, with each certain and objective modality I’ve learned, the more certain I am of the mystery of healing. Of living. Of being human. The more I embrace the clinician and mystic within me.
And so, here I’ll be, offering integrative, embodied therapy to help you heal and awaken to the glorious mystery that you are. In body, mind, and spirit. ❤️❤️❤️
Message me or visit the link in my bio to schedule a session - virtual or in-person. I’m very grateful to for their support and collaborative energy from the start. 🙏
“This is meaningful.”
2022 has presented so many challenges, personally and collectively. I hope whoever and wherever you are ,as you scroll through, that you’re well enough.
It seems I took an unplanned but intentional break from posting here to sort through what life had presented me this year. I was listening to podcast with cofounder Alexandra Pope and their words were so resonant. In how I’ve been living with life as it unfolds, and how I approach working with each client I see.
“I can either say my life is fu**ed and condemn myself to nothingness. Or I can meet this as part of my life path and that something meaningful is at work.”
Thanks for sharing this podcast in the first place. And thank you to all the beautiful, brave, witchy and wise women who continue to live life without turning away.
Another month means another free and in-person Embodied Meditation class at the Woods branch of the !
This month the intention is on letting the body tell you. Sometimes even the best intentioned meditation can be stuck in the thinking mind. There’s been so much to “wrap our heads around” this past month. I’ve noticed in my own practice I’ve been thinking my way through, not so much feeling. And maybe that’s what’s been needed. Or is still what may be in the highest for anyone in a given moment. For me, for now, I’ve been feeling safe enough to emerge from my mind and merge back with my body.
If this fits for you and you’re local, come join us. If you’re not local there are always two options to practice with me. Mondays at 11am est for 15 minutes and Mondays at 12:30pm est for half and hour. Message me for the link. ❤️❤️❤️
Next Wednesday is our June in-person embodied meditation gathering at Fairfield Woods Library! All are welcome - you don't need to have meditated before. We sit supported in chairs so no need to worry about the ability to sit on the floor. This month our intention will be grounding and balance.
.
Often people say "I've tried meditating so many times but my mind is always too busy". Or "I can't sit still or get away from all the things I feel in my body as I sit there." Or "I just can't sit still". These practices are not meant to make us think less, or feel less. We do these practices to grow our capacity to feel more.
We have this physical body, that's right here for us to see and touch. But we often live apart from it, or only from a part of it. It doesn't take much to understand why. It's a freakin' challenge to be present to everything in the external world right now. Let alone all of the happenings from our individual lives that make being with the inside world feel less possible too.
said yesterday (and I’m paraphrasing), “when we resist or block movement we lose our balance. When we align or relate to movement it reminds me of my interdependence with all of life. To recenter, or rejoin the movement of life I’m part of the flow. There is movement all around but when I’m with the flow it feels quiet, it’s still. It’s a constant process of relating. Not to take me out of life but to go deeper into life.”
These practices invite us to deepen the relationship to our own individual aliveness and at the same time our interdependence with all of life. This month in particular we'll explore finding balance in the movement of our experience. And take time to settle into the ground within our bodies and into the ground of the Earth.
If you aren’t local but want to experience these practices you can find some on my YouTube channel or find class information at the link in bio.
❤️❤️❤️
Feel free to message me here, email me at [email protected], or sign up at the link below.
I loved walking in to woods branch and seeing this whole stand with books dedicated to mindfulness and meditation! It was an honor to be there at the beginning of the month to lead an embodied meditation practice. Some of the comments after where feeling more whole in their body, that sitting in stillness didn’t make them feel restless but more alive, and that it opened them up to possibility.
I’m so happy to collaborate with Fairfield Woods Library in offering free in person embodied meditation class once a month! The next session is scheduled for 6/8 at 6:30pm.
In the meantime, stop by and pick up a book to support you in your evolution. See you in June!
❤️🙏❤️
